We have very laid back auctions on Monday nights at our auction house in the Chicago suburb of Arlington Heights, Illinois. We also offer onsite auctions at various locations throughout the Chicago area as well as online auctions. Our auctions are fun and fast paced, and we offer all sorts of items including but not limited to vintage items, new items, antiques, housewares, tools, collectibles, and more!
We welcome all members of the public including resellers, antique dealers, collectors, interior designers, people looking for great deals and bargains, and anyone who is just curious. We specialize in consignment auctions, estate auctions for those who prefer an auction over a traditional estate sale, and charity auctions with our special musical twist.

I won an item on a Denotter Auction recently and when I called the only shipper listed by this auction house was told I could not get an estimate of shipping unless they picked the item up???? I’ve been doing auctions for over a year and have never had this happen. The auction houses have always given more than one shipper and all the shippers give estimates prior to picking up the item unless the auction house included shipping in the price. I want to know what the cost is before agree to something. The shipper said he’s return the item if I didn’t agree with the cost but he’d already

Beware of this auction house! Poor customer service from the owner will basically ignore you. Won items in auction for a great deal and then they mysteriously disappeared from auction house to the shipper. Shipper told me they never received the items and when I tried to contact Denotter I got told different stories from the staff after weeks of trying to locate these items they could have card less and the owner even more so. The items won were worth much more than I paid and to get rid of me they just issued a piddly refund after weeks without word. Scam artists! beware

I Love Denotter! I’ve gotten some cool vintage stuff while not going to estate sales for the past year. Most items start at $6. Easy to use the LiveAuctioneers app to watch/bid/buy, then sign up for a curbside pick up time. I check their auctions every week and almost always find things I’m interested in.

I’ve been a customer of Denotter Auctions for well over a year, and have attended many different auctions for several years.
As for the negative review, I pre-viewed the numerous pictures of the items to be auctioned at that sale. I did not attend that auction because I didn’t see anything interesting to purchase. That review stated that they pulled the “truly collectible” items prior to the auction, which resulted in low attendance at the auction. I am confident that the auctioneer, Michele Denotter, did her best to try to sell the items.

We had a liquidation sale at my mother-in-laws antique store this past weekend and I was mortified. Denotter auction pretty much gave everything away for nothing. I had an employee sitting down there to watch and she would sell a whole shelving unit with everything on it for $5. Now I am not delusional to think that everything was priceless but I do know that some of the stuff should have gone for more than she started with. Carnival glass, that man got the deal of a century. Not only was it the prices, the people that came to the auction were just disrespectful of the items that weren't sold.
