Upon leaving my career as a teacher to get into tech, I reached out to Betts to help me get a job as an SDR. Emily Love at Betts is one of the best recruiters I have ever worked with. I myself have been a staffing agency and an in-house recruiter and I stand by this statement. Emily worked round the clock for me, introducing me to amazing companies. She is very well-researched and always had answers to my questions. She never pushed me and instead got me the best offers (many above industry salary ranges). I was really hesitant at first to reach out to Betts to help me with my job search given all the recent poor reviews. However, I take all Yelp reviews with a grain of salt and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. It has been almost 2 months from the time I first reached out to them and meeting with the recruiter assigned to me (Emily Love) and I have yet to get any where with them. Emily has mentioned in my initial meeting that she will be texting me to keep in contact with me for possible opportunities I may be interested in and that their firm usually takes 6 weeks for job candidates

I randomly came across Betts Recruiting because they had a few job openings that closely matched my background. I submitted an inquiry and received an email response from the Recruiting Coordinator. After emailing back and forth, we scheduled our phone chat for later that week.

Worst agency I've used. I met Carolyn Betts back in 2011. She was introduced to me by a colleague who knew her from school so I accepted the meeting. I booked a small conference room for 2 and she showed up with 12, yes TWELVE of her associates to talk about my open roles. Needless to day, that did not make a good first impression. Over the coming weeks, I was inundated with a barrage of unqualified resumes and suffice it to say, Betts made zero placements at my company and caused additional work for me and my team.

They will not even acknowledge you if your profile has employment gaps. Recruiters view your profile and do not even get back to you. What's the point of going through an employment agency who won't help you any better than job hunting by yourselves? I'm a member of a popular job seeking forum and will make sure to mention about this experience so that someone else doesn't feel the same way that I did.

I used Betts a few years ago and had great help from a recruiter who was constantly helping me find the best job opportunities, and adequately preparing me for those roles. I was hired through a role they introduced me to and stayed at the company for more than 4 years. Overall I would give them 5 stars.....but that was 5 years ago.
This time around, it was a completely different experience. After an encouraging first meeting, my recruiter texted me a handful of times over the next two weeks.....no emails. There was no follow up on the positions/companies that we had discussed. No information

Saw their ad on youtube.com and reached out to the firm to see if they were a good fit to assist in my search. I'm am a CPA and was working as a controller but felt the company's other leadership were not heading in a good direction and decided to move on.
First impression was pleasant. The lady I spoke with (I will leave the name off) was polite, attentive and followed suit with most recruiters. The meeting in person, that's where the first impression faded. When I meet with her she was either not prepared or inexperienced to meet someone with executive level experience.

Worst Recruiting Firm I have ever delt with. Very unprofessional, not honest, direct or transparent. I began the hiring process back in April of 2018 and met with 3 Hiring managers and over 8 Recruiters. Not one Recruiter has placed me at a job or adequately interviewed me for an internal position. I spoke with the Talent Acquisition manager at my interview and she was very rude about me asking about the culture. I have done the research on the firm and she said the following:

My recruiter was very nice, but it was hard to get email responses from her. Ultimately I switched firms.
We worked together for 3 weeks. She found 6 great leads, but when I approved them she would not respond or introduce me. After 2 weeks (and many emails), I sent a final email asking her to respond because I had other opportunities that were starting to progress. Still nothing. I even reached out to someone else within Betts to share constructive feedback and ask what was going on (maybe she left the company or took an extended leave or something?). They shared my email with her but never responded

Danielle was the best throughout the entire process, which was very quick altogether. I simply made an application on their website, and Danielle contacted me. I was invited into the office to meet with her and other members of the Betts team. Everyone I met in the office was fantastic, lovely and professional. We outlined what kind of role I was looking for, and Danielle swiftly set up some interviews for me with companies that week. There was no playing around, we just got right into it which was great.

Could not be happier with the work that Melissa over with Betts Recruiting did in helping me land a job. She did everything she could to ensure that I was well prepared before every job interview I had. I recently moved to San Francisco and was referred to Betts through a friend. Hazel Koch took time to really listen to what I was looking for in my next position and then went straight to work. I had phone interviews set up within a day and a job within a week and a half. She never pressured me to take any interview or job that I wasn't interested in.
