I'm Adrian Hickmon, the Founder and Director of Capstone Treatment Center in Arkansas, a Christian rehab for teens and young adults. My wife and I know what it's like to face an overwhelming, even life-threatening, situation with a child. I remember staying up way past midnight for months searching the internet for answers.
We have been encouraged by several Capstone parents over the years to get the word out concerning what people get for their money at Capstone compared to other programs. These parents and their sons had been through other programs and were comparing the value of Capstone's program to their prior treatment experiences.
Many Christian parents do not pursue professional help for their children because they don't want a treatment or therapy experience that could possibly undermine their beliefs. A valid concern for sure. Numerous Capstone parents have told us that they used search phrases like "Christian residential treatment centers, " "Christian drug rehab, " "faith-based residential treatment centers" and so on, looking for the right fit for their child.

Words cannot express the team at Capstone . From day one our son was loved, counseled, moved to greater heights, and met where he was at . Adrian and his staff are true professionals and their Christ centered approach and miraculous therapy resonated with our son. It was one of hardest things we have ever done but the work is worth the reward .

As a former client of Capstone, I have alot of positive and negatives. Figuring people in the same shoes as my parents were looking go get me the help I needed a year and a half ago will be sitting on google looking for anything to save their son, they'd like to hear the feedback from a client. I will state that the program will be smoother if the client enters the program with a humbled mind and a will to focus on what needs to be done in therapy & make change to their life, conquering anxieties and trauma. Unfortunately, I wasn't humbled in the least going into the program & ended up leaving

Capstone was amazing, I went over 12 years ago and still have my dog. I'm married and have a beautiful family and I have tools that I use today to stay sober that I learned at Capstone. I go back every summer to see everyone and do the alumni program. I highly recommend sending your loved one. It's such an amazing place to heal and focus on what's holding you back from being sober and being yourself.

This place will change your life if you allow it, and I wholeheartedly believe had it not been for capstone and the work they did with me, that I would be not be here. My therapist worked with me not only to get through the past I had before capstone, but to help prepare me to have the best life possible after my stay. My son graduated from Capstone and we recommend it highly. The founder, the therapists, the staff all approach their jobs with the utmost dedication and care. They love the boys and their families while they are in the program and long after, as we've experienced in aftercare. The staff to client ratio is as advertised. Safety is of the highest concern. Improvements are being made constantly. We have no regrets in our decision to send our son to Capstone.

Know that my wife and I found help for our son at Capstone. 3 years post Capstone our entire family unit (2 siblings included) is much healthier.
There are three Cs to earning my trust, and Capstone met all three:
They must be Competent: They are. You will likely learn a great deal.
They must be Candid: They were...you will get straight truth.
They have to Care: Their love for hurting kids and families is genuine.

I truly can’t think of words to describe how amazing our Capstone experience was! We discovered Capstone in the middle of a crisis. We truly felt like our son was close to death. I called Capstone and the admissions person was calm and patient and answered all of my questions. The admissions process was great! We dropped off our son while he was still hallucinating at times, his balance was off, and he was skin and bones (having lost 40 lbs). Our son’s counselor was amazing (we will forever be thankful for him). Family week was life changing. We have our son back! Every day I am beyond THANKFUL

The professionalism and skills of the Capstone staff (the entire staff) has changed our son and our family forever. They deployed their program, talent and passion to help our son and I believe it has changed the trajectory of his life for the better. I would highly recommend Capstone for anyone in need.
