Rey Leal is a Board-Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, he graduated from UTEP with a Bachelor of Science in 1998 and received a Master's of science with honors from NMSU in 2004. Rey Leal has been serving El Paso community for more than 20 years in a wide array of settings including community agencies, hospitals, outpatient clinics and continues serving the adult mental health population today.

It is impossible to have a consistent case management when the turnover of case workers and therapist is so high. We are now on our fourth case worker in approx. 18 months and 2nd therapist. Worst part is we don't learn of this until a missed appointment from case worker and then they tell us that person no longer works there and reschedule with new one. Having a team sounds great, but something there is broke. If you understand Mental Health, having consistent care is a must, and El Paso Mental Health cannot provide this care.
