Dr. Jennifer Tan is an experienced dermatologist with dual board-certification in Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology. She has dedicated her career to high quality patient care, clinical innovation, and community health and enjoys providing dermatologic care to patients of all ages.

After selection for the prestigious Canby Robinson Scholarship, she earned her M.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and was valedictorian of her graduating class.She was named Tennessee Woman in Medicine of the Year after co-founding a free medical clinic for the uninsured in the Nashville area.

My son had a very bad rash developing all over his body and his pediatrician had no idea what it could be. I called around to every pediatric dermatologist in the area and no one had any availability for the next month and some of the receptionists were downright rude! I called Austin Skin as a long shot and the doctor was able to see him the same day and diagnosed him in minutes. She had seen it various times before in her experience and prescribed us the right medicine and even told us where we could find it for less than what it is offered at our pharmacy. I saw Dr. Tan at the BeeCave location! She was great! She listened to my concern and talked to me about possible options to try to resolve the issue. I have found my permanent dermatologist clinic! Staff was welcoming and informative from start to finish. I am still getting calls after my appointment from staff checking in to see how everything has been going and if I needed anything. It makes me as the patient comfortable to call with concerns I may have in the future. You will not find an office that cares more for their patients then Austin Skin!!

Dr Gee sees my teenage daughter for acne, and was able to get her skin almost completely clear after just 2 months. I had taken her to a different Dermatologist for almost two years and my daughter's skin had been getting worse and worse. Dr Gee is so skilled and knowledgeable and knew exactly how to change my daughters treatment protocol - the results are proof of how great of a doctor she is.
Additionally, I see Dr Collins for aesthetic things (filler, dysport) and I came to her after an AWFUL experience at Westlake Dermatology where I was left completely uneven and lumpy - and was so upset

The best dermatologist I have ever visited.
Dr. Gee was extremely passionate about what she does and very efficient. Both my daughter and I did the whole body skin scan (plus first-time paperwork) in about 40 mins The clinic was very clean, staff and nurse were very nice. We also heard there is a new pediatric dermatologist Dr. Tan recently aboard. We will visit her in another 3 months for my daughter’s eczema.

These people are my heroes. My 19 year old son’s original dermatologist dropped the ball and made him wait six weeks for an appointment for a suspicious lesion - turns out there were two and a biopsy revealed cells that are indicating the possibility of melanoma, and then told us the earliest they could remove them was a few weeks away. This practice accommodated him within 48 hours to fully excise them. We will be moving all his dermatology care to Austin Skin despite the distance from our home because of their sense of urgency and professionalism. They worked rapidly to get his pathology reports

The Doctors and staff at Austin skin are fabulous! I have experienced both locations, first in Smithville and recently in Austin with nothing but admiration for all concetned. Everyone is so friendly.professional,helpful, and caring. I personally have been there for a long term, minor problem, and an acute problem that required some in house surgery, and have been treated with the upmost quiet profesionalism and calming attitude. My only regret is that these doctors and staff are not available to handle my primary care in total

Everyone at Austin Skin has been helpful and pleasant to work with. I went in with a bad Rosacea outbreak and Dr. Gee was able to help knock it out and work on a continued treatment plan to keep it away. They made sure I knew what options I had for treatment and made sure I was comfortable with the plan.
