Services
Cornerstone Counseling opened its doors in July of 2012. With a combination of over twenty years of experience, owners Shellie Cook and Jill Willer have been joined by other licensed therapists and practitioners to offer a comprehensive range of support. Together they provide a space for individuals to address concerns and stresses while building on inherent strengths to develop healthy coping strategies for the future.
I have been practicing in the mental health field since 2002. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and completed my Clinical Master of Social Work in 2006. I began private practice in 2008 and most recently, together with Jill Willer, I have owned, operated, and practiced within Cornerstone Counseling since 2012.
I have worked in the field of mental health and social services for over ten years. My experience has included working with a range of ages from childhood through the life-span in outpatient agencies, in-home support services, day-treatment schools, colleges and currently in private practice.
I have advanced training and expertise in supporting those experiencing anxiety, depression, womens' issues, survivors of abuse and trauma, moving through grief and bereavement, and mental health concerns.I am committed to aiding others in their journey towards a fulfilling life free from the obstacles that can hinder our forward movement.
