Family member been waiting for hours in the ER. Doctor's tell them it could be something bad, so need to do tests and imaging. But won't do it until insurance is approved. So give scary possibly, cause severe anxiety, but do nothing until they know they get money first. Lives don't come first at this facility. Same hospital didn't take care of the issue before a year ago said they are not worried about it. Now look. Not thrilled with how they treat people. If it does turn out to be bad news, a lawyer will be in contact from the family.

Ending my second day in the hospital after a total knee replacement and I have nothing but great words for KRMC! From doctors to nurses, to nurses aides I've had nothing but excellent care and compassion! I've been in a lot more than normal pain but that is on me not the staff or hospital. In fact, I'm coming back in February to have my 2nd knee replacement here too! Great place!

When just one person is rude or combative it reflects on the entire facility, which is unfortunate. My husband was sent to the emergency room from another facility because of metal stuck in his hand. The doctor was rude and refused to remove the metal which is obviously causing my husband pain. However, all of the nurses and staff we encountered while there were exceptional.
My main complaint is this is actually a workman's comp claim and we were asked to take paperwork to give to the company which my husband works for to fill out and return. In calling the hospital to ask where to send the paperwork

Wow! The care here is EXCEPTIONAL! EVERYONE, to a person, had been extremely kind, competent, and attentive. No arrogant physician here! No harried impatience! No nurses who can’t wait to get away from the room to take care of someone else. This hospital is characterized by love and concern. We could not have been having a better, more healing experience, given the emergency in which we found ourselves.
Thank you so very much, Kearney Regional Medical Center!!! Keep up the good work.

Worst experience at a hospital ever! Nurses in emergency room and recovery room were so rude and there is absolutely no communication. I got sick from the anesthesia and the nurse in the recovery room told me I wouldn’t feel any better and I just needed to leave. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

My dad was there over Easter and had the worst care. The Doctors don't communicate. One tells the nurses to take out his tubes while the other one tells them to keep it in. They brought him meals when he was unable to eat them. The nurses were all traveling nurses who didn't have the slightest clue how the hospital is run. The emergency room receptionist were rude and crabby to my mom. If you want to run a good hospital there has got to be some kind of communication.
