Rice Cafe is a made-to-order Chinese restaurant located in the heart of Purdue's campus. We quickly became a favorite among students upon opening, and have been growing in popularity in the years since. We offer delivery, catering, take-out, and have a dining area as well. Our employees with always greet you with a smile, and our determined delivery drivers deliver food to nearly anywhere in the West Lafayette and Downtown Lafayette areas.

We are open until 4AM, perfect for all-night study sessions, or just the late-night munchies!

Ordered our food and waited 90minutes when it was only 5 minutes away. I called and they said the driver left 10 minutes ago and should be there now or soon. Waited another 30 min and still hadn't arrived. 3 hours later i get a text that there was a problem with my order and ill get a 10% discount next time. Really? Never again will I ever order from them or support their business.

Waited 2 hours for my order, tried calling multiple times with no answer. Charged 45$ for food I didn't even get. On a Saturday night, I know those phones are on. No excuses. Horrible

Ordered and was told 30 mins. Arrived to pick up and they hadn't even started the order. This isn't the first time for a poor experience. Highly would not recommend!

Horrible experience. Disgusting food. Rude employees and managers. I do not recommend. Read all the other reviews. I should have listened to them. They mess up orders and refuse refund and won't fix it. They finally delivered my food a few hours later. I ended up tossing it. The smell was nauseating and just two bites made my stomach hurt. It tasted awful and now I feel like im going to throw up. Stay clear and far away from them.

Love their fried rice, they always come filled up in the box. I'm glad they're open till pretty late so I can order midnight food

Open late, pretty quick, and you can get your food rather spicy. The location is great if you're close to campus or at the bars.
That's about it for the positives.
The food is mediocre and the prices are high compared to the other Chinese places in town. The meats were all dry and over done for us, and the dishes were extremely vegetable heavy with small portions for a dinner sized meal.

I loved their shrimp eggplant. It was so good. It had the right amount of spice, eggplant and shrimp. The combination complimented each other. The quantity is also great. I can eat it for at least 2 days. Also try their chicken fried rice and sezhwan chicken.
