This is a very common question. If you live in a town or city its simple, all the contents flush from your house and drain into the sewer system which eventually makes its way to a sewage treatment plant. If you own a home in the country however, your home is not connected to city sewer and so a septic system is required.
The liquid level rises until it reaches the outlet pipe in your septic tank, where it then flows into the leach field. Determining when to pump your septic tank depends on a few factors. Normally we recommend for 1000 gallon tanks to be pumped every 3 years and a 1500 gallon tank to be pumped every 5 years.

We bought a used porta potty there. They where so nice to us. Now all we have to do is call them with an 2 to 3 days notice. They will come & clean it out for $38.00 - put in the blueing sulchion & the t.p. if needed. In the fall they put in a brine sulchion to help it not to freeze up. Different types of porta potties vary in price. Note only used are fore sail. They do need some minor easy repair but they can't rent them out no more. We are so glad that we checked them out & we hope that you do too. Very reasonible.
