Dr Flora Freeauf is an amazing eastern medicine and acupuncture healer. Her treatments have been wonderful, and leave a lasting change in my entire well-being. Flora’s knowledge and depth is apparent, and she truly seeks to heal the entire person. Her self-made salves and tinctures blend eastern and island herbs and wisdom. I have seen Flora a few times now and always walk away feeling it was money well spent! She really seems to know what she’s doing. She helped me immensely with hip discomfort towards the end of my pregnancy and even came over as I went into labor to help with any aches and pains and move things along more quickly (which they absolutely did!). As a fellow practitioner of Chinese Medicine (not currently licensed) I can say with confidence that Flora is highly skilled at her craft. Her diagnosis is swift and spot on, her needling is direct and precise, and her knowledge of herbal medicine is vast and varied. I had been dealing with radiating/spasming shoulder pain for almost half a year. I came to Flora knowing nothing about acupuncture and scared to death of needles, but desperate to try and relieve some of the pain I was having. I am here to say Flora is absolutely remarkable! In just 3 sessions she completely got rid of all pain and spasms. It's been about 1 month and I am still pain free! I hurt my back on the third day of our family vacation. I was pretty bummed because the pain prevented me from playing around with the family. But Flora from Dakine Hand Acupuncture and Massage saved me and the vacation. Flora was recommended to me as someone who could help. My experience with Flora exceeds 5 stars! Flora is extremely knowledgable. She carefully pays attention to each client and approaches each injury with such care and compassion. I injured my knees pretty badly while on the Island. In a week or two, Flora had me off crutches and adventuring again! She truly knows what she is doing and is incredibly dedicated to each client's well-being. I cannot recommend her enough!

Flora is AMAZING!! we stubbled upon her contact info while on a vacation in Kauai, we were looking for a massage therapist but we got so much more with Flora! She is an expert in Chinese medicine, extremely intelligent & able to help assess the overall health of your body. she gave us great tips on what to add or remove from our diets, how to increase energy and blood flow and recommendations to improve overall health after the session.
