Anybody whos lived in San Carlos for more then a decade knows Jim is a snake. after listening to everybody telling me not to go there, I decided to go anyways, because he specialized in air conditionings. after getting my air checked, Jim tells me I needed a new compressor, and a new radiator fan. I decided to just get the new radiator fan, which he replaced within a couple of hours. the next day, transmission fluid had leaked all over my driveway. it never leaked before, so I take it back to him and explain everything, he gives me a nasty look and takes my keys. my car sits at his shop for 3 DAYS

Took my GMC truck in the morning for a broken wheel bearing and they had it fixed by the end of the day. Got 1 phone call telling me the damage and the price and a second phone call when it was completed. I appreciate not being bothered all day. Easily giving Jim 5 stars he did a great job and I have not had any issues with the truck since. I will be back next time something breaks. Thanks Jim.

By far the best experience I have had with any automotive repair shop! I took my Jeep in to have a transmission installed and it was finished the same day. There was a problem with the wiring on the transmission, but Jim drove the Jeep and located the problem after I already paid! That sort of wonderful customer service is hard to fine. The price was very fair. I will definitely recommend this shop to family and friends.

My 21 year old daughter found out her trunk latch didn't work late in the evening last night and she needed to get it fixed so she could start her new job tomorrow. She was able to get in same day despite the dealer and another recommended mechanic telling her it would be a 2 day wait for an appointment. Trunk was fixed in a couple hours and the price was right in line with what the internet told me to expect to pay. Will definitely use again if needed.

I took my Cadillac to Jim to obtain a second opinion after Val Ward quoted me an exorbitant figure to repair a coolant leak and oil leak (misdiagnosed). Jim correctly diagnosed the issue and performed the repairs for a quarter of the price quoted by Val Ward. He was honest, informative and work was completed quickly.

I'm an 18 year old girl in college and don't really understand anything about cars (and you can tell). I came here cause I thought I needed new breakpads because they were squeaking and they told me it was $350 just for new ones in the back. I assumed they were trying to overcharge me so I drove 2 hours home to do it at my boyfriends families shop. They checked and the brakes were perfectly fine and only squeaking because they were really dusty. Ladies don't come here unless you have a lot of knowledge about cars and the prices, otherwise they'll try to rip you off big time
