Long story short.. I had to quickly reorder my wedding dress last minute because the business that I had purchased the original from botched up my alterations after having plenty of time to do it. I brought my new dress here, within a tight 5 days turnaround time, not only did they do the alterations I wanted correctly but did more than what the other place could do!! I am beyond satisfied and highly recommend them. The lady here literally saved me from not having a wedding dress to wear on my wedding.

Definitely recommend!! I had just recently gotten a jacket that was a MENS LARGE and I'm a woman's small-medium! The tailor that works here took it in and brought this jacket down atleast 3 sizes, basically rebuilding the jacket as far as I'm concerned! She said she had to make a 6-inch cut because this thing was so big, and there's patterns, zippers, and pockets all over this jacket. She spent a ridiculous amount of time on it, and all the stitching looks super professional and matches the factory stitching, so you wouldn't even know! Absolute OVERPRICED rip-off is an understatement. I needed my rank sewn on for my Air Force service dress. Without asking the price (my fault), I dropped them off and came back in only one hour to pick them up. I expected $20 at the most. I’ve had rank sewn on many times before. She charged me $60 to sew on 2 pairs of insignias in less than an hour. That is not just outrageous. That is wrong. I can only imagine if they are going to rip off a service member like that, they will not think twice to up charge anyone else 300%-400%. BUYER BEWARE.

I’ve been coming here for months now getting my shirts and suits tailored for work. Not only is the staff friendly and experienced, but the quality is perfect and consistent. Would highly recommend coming here for all your tailoring needs.

The Louisiana Custom Tailoring exceeded my expectations in every way!! I brought a leather jacket, football jersey, polo and costume. All garments were tailored to perfection in a VERY fast and timely manner. I was most impressed by my leather flight jacket which I doubted that it could be altered. It looks better than ever and fits like a glove. Everything looks great. My costume is now perfect for the theater and ballroom. I am thoroughly impressed. I visited Louisiana Custom Tailoring in November about two weeks before my wedding because I was fretting about my dress not fitting quite right. Boy did they put my mind at ease! I was so impressed with how quickly they were able to pinpoint all of my dress' issues and how quickly they were able to fix them. I highly recommend this company!

These people are the sweetest and best tailors I have ever encountered. I started planning my wedding in August and planned to wear my mother’s wedding dress, she told me to get it altered since we weren’t the same size, and so I brought it to Louisiana custom tailors, and explained to them the alterations I wanted to make, and they even helped me with a few details that I hadn’t thought of. Y'all! I called on February 6, in need of a rush job. I needed my dress altered for a ball. I called and they told me to bring it in the next day. Not only were they friendly and professional but they tailor did such an AMAZING JOB! She took my dress in and hemmed it to make it fit better. Before I took it to her I was swimming in fabric. After her work it fit me like a glove. I HIGHLY reccomend her work!!!

I took my swimsuit to another tailor and they refused to do what I had asked because it was “too difficult” and it would have “turned out ugly” so I brought my suit to this tailoring shop and it was a COMPLETELY different experience. The owners/employees were very friendly, helpful, and did wonders to the swimsuit I wanted to have taken in and made more cheeky. It was somewhat pricey for the job, but I did understand that it was swimsuit material, she had to remake seams, and cut away fabric, so the price might be justified by the amount of work she had to do, I paid $60 for alterations

I recently had an Overland Leather Jacket tailored here. I am very impressed with the quality of work. They were able to taper the sleeves and sides perfectly without damaging any of the lines in the design of the jacket. I will definitely be going back to them. Great service and very nice people.
