Our legacy started in 1976 when Dr. Rene Navarro opened his first medical office in Lake Wales Fl. Through many trials and tribulations, Dr. Rene Navarro was able to make the American dream his reality, from starting life in a rural village in Peru to becoming a prominent physician in the Lake Wales community.
After settling down he was blessed with a son, who now follows in his father's footsteps. Today Dr. Ricardo Navarro carries on this same legacy with the values and dedication to service that were taught to him by his father. He takes great pride in helping his patients through the good times and the bad.

We will gladly submit claims to any third-party payor for which you are a subscriber/ member. Balance due after insurance payments - depending on the insurance contract - will be your responsibility.
For qualifying patients we offer virtual visit from 12-1 so that you may access healthcare on your lunch break. Founded in 1892 by Dr. A.T. Still the first school of Osteopathy. Webber International University is proud to offer health services on campus for students and staff. Currently a doctor, nurse, and licensed mental health counselor are available on campus every week. My experience with Dr. Navarro is that he is thorough. He is NOT the typical give-him-2-symptoms-and-he-writes-a-Rx kind of doctor. I am an physically active retiree and in July of 2020, I started experiencing pain in my hip. I took Advil with no relieve. After a week, my neighbor convinced me to go to the ER. Turns out what I thought was arthritis was a staph infection and has a 30% mortality rate because it is misdiagnosed as arthritis. Dr. Navarro treated me in the hospital. He immediately and correctly made the diagnosis! He saved my life!

I have been a patient of Dr Navarro’s for 3 years and I believe it was meant to be. I feel respected as a human and a patient. He listens to my issues and I totally feel understood. I have a very complex medical history and Dr Navarro makes sure he covers all the medical bases. I would recommend Dr Navarro to anyone seeking the highest quality care. I had my battle with Covid a couple of months back. Days after contracting it, my breathing took a turn for the worst, which is when I decided to see my doctor (Dr. Navarro). Fortunately, Dr. Navarro immediately understood the severity of my illness and took the necessary steps to help me fight through it. Throughout my treatment and recover, I had several nurses and doctors tell me Dr. Navarro was the best doctor for Covid treatment.

Absolute unprofessional; very typical pompous, arrogant and gets angry very quickly. After trying to explain my concerns on his approach to diagnosing I was told by Dr. Navarro he would write a letter of discharge of service and give me a list of doctors I could go to. Who gives a diagnosis of cancer to a patient then tells them to find another doctor because they question his decision making? He had seen the patient twice and never touched the patient.......Poor critical thinking; very poor decision making........

I first saw Dr. Navarro at the beginning of 2001. I have battled high cholesterol for most of my life; Dr. Navarro actually gave me an answer as to why. Familial Hypercholesterolemia is a common disorder but not commonly diagnosed. My initial blood results were nothing short of a ticking time bomb waiting for heart attack or stroke. Only six months later, on the correct meds, my latest blood results are normal! I can honestly say under Dr. Navarro’s care I feel better now than I have in my entire adult life.Thank you Dr. Navarro!

I have been in the medical field for over 45 years. In all my experiences with doctors I can honestly say that Dr. Navarro is hands down the most professional physician I have ever dealt with. This past April of 2021 my husband had an emergency admission to the hospital. Since his attending physician did not have hospital privileges, Dr. Navarro was assigned to oversee his care. Dr Navarro is friendly, caring, professional, and knowledgeable. He was my mom’s attending physician in the ER at Advent Health Lake Wales hospital and is now her primary care physician. He is informative and determined to treat the many health issues my mom has. Dr Navarro listens and answers all questions and concerns. His staff is incredibly friendly and professional. Dr Navarro is such a dedicated doctor! I can’t praise him enough. He has gone above and beyond for me several times. I literally put my life in his very capable hands and his staff is the absolute best. They always greet me with a hug and a smile, ask about my family and even my dogs!!
