Cannon Companies was founded in 1954 by Harold Cannon. Starting with insurance services, he then added real estate in 1964, and branched out into real estate development and construction in 1975. It is now managed, in part, by his two sons, Monte and Mike.
In 1990, the Cannon family-owned and operated company built its current headquarters in Troy, Missouri and has grown to become one of the largest providers of construction, developments, real estate (sales and exchanges), excavation, and investments in Lincoln County and surround areas.
