Rebar reinforced steel will be formed to match your pool design within the excavated area. The return lines, skimmers and main drain will be installed to help streamline the construction process. The wet-mix shotcrete shell of your swimming pool will be sculpted, matching the detail of your specs. The equipment will be set, and the plumbing lines will be run in ditches to ensure their safety.
At Ozone Pools & Outdoor Living, we install Jandy equipment, a brand of Zodiac Pool Systems, Inc. ("Zodiac"), which delivers the highest quality, easy to use, most hydraulically efficient system available. With a full line of pumps, heaters, valves, lights, chlorinators, and water features, Jandy Pro Series offers a complete package to suit any pool.
Depending on the size and details of your project (waterfalls, outdoor areas), the typical build time for an in-ground concrete pool is 6-8 weeks (weather permitting). There are four payments due throughout the construction process: The 1st payment is due after excavation, the 2nd payment is due after shotcrete, the 3rd payment is due after plumbing, and the 4th payment is due prior to plastering your pool.

We initially contacted Ozone pools and was responsive at first (hence the 2nd star). Cam came out and spent a good deal of time with us going over the layout of our backyard and what we were looking for. Cam told us he was already backed up and it would probably be about 2 weeks before we got our design. Well 2 weeks came and went and nothing - we have had to reach out to Cam MULTIPLE times only to get one excuse after another, and here we are 2 months later from the time he came to our home and still no design or even a date of when we could expect one, even though the last correspondence from

Don’t waste your time with this company. There are plenty of other pool companies in the Charlotte area that would be excited to build your pool. Dan came out and discussed ideas for our pool. When it came time to meet to discuss plans and a quote, Dan would not return calls or emails. I don’t appreciate my time being wasted.

The owner of Ozone Pools is an artist and an engineer. He’s also a bit of a Santa Claus.
For years before we built our pool, we watched as our neighbors had pools built by larger companies, the type whose signs you see stuck in lawns all over town. We then learned that our neighbors had to meet a minimum size for their pools, that they faced upcharges at every turn, and that the build process stalled out for weeks at a time. When their jobs were complete, we noticed that their pools all looked alike…and that the big name company’s van was in their driveway every month or so, making repairs
