Thrive Mental Health Services was founded by Erika Coppen in order to better serve the community in Franklin and the surrounding areas, and accommodate the many clients who have Private Insurance coverage but have experienced difficulties finding a behavioral health provider who accepts Private Insurance/EAP.

Master's level training (Tennessee State University; The Tavistock Clinic in London, England; The University of Southampton, Southampton, England). I believe that people are much stronger and capable than they even realize or give themselves credit for. I love helping people realize and optimize their many strengths.

It is important that you feel "safe" in this room, so for the most part, everything that you say in this room stays in this room.

However, there are some Legal Exceptions to Confidentiality, which mandate action on my part: (1) You are extremely Suicidal and you Cannot Contract for Safety; (2) You plan to Kill someone; (3) You have been Abused, are currently being Abused, or are at current risk of being Abused; (4) You know of someone who is currently being Abused or is at current risk of being Abused*.
I provide individual mental health therapy the primary modality, with family therapy or couples counseling only on an as-needed basis, as an adjunct modality. If you are seeking couples counseling as the primary modality, I or your insurance company may be able to provide you with a referral. I do not specialize in treating individuals who have special needs or intellectual disabilities.
Q: What is Telehealth anyway? A:Telehealth is videoconferencing that you can do securely from the comfort of your own home/automobile/work thru a computer with a webcam or smartphone (by using a web-link or the "Telehealth by SimplePractice" app). Q: Can I do Telehealth by just talking on the phone, via email, via social media, or by texting?

Erika is amazing. I’ve improved so much and even though a lot is going on in my life right now I’ve been able to deal with it on my own. She’s helped me get to a point where I no longer need to see a therapist. I strongly recommend her, especially if you’re looking for a good therapist for your teen. She’s changed my life dramatically and I can’t thank her enough.
