Every month, many low-income seniors come to North Kent Connect to pick up supplemental food to help get them through the month. The 20 lb. drawstring apple bags from Rockford Package Supply are a godsend. Our volunteers pack an assortment of dry goods in one bag (cereal, rice, pasta, soups) and fresh/frozen in the other (bananas, meat, orange juice, etc.). Your bags are sturdy, never break, and they’re easy for our seniors to carry. This Senior Pantry Day is important not just for the food, but for our seniors to connect with one another in fellowship.
