Casual spot with good food and even better staff. The flow of hungry Alaskan adventurers kept coming through the main door and host Ryan worked hard to get everyone seated as efficiently as possible. My server Ayla was equally as pleasant. I had the salmon sandwich, which was tasty.

We found this restaurant through online search and came to late dinner with anticipation. The taste of the food was more than expected. Before my 2-year-old daughter went to bed, she said that today's dinner was sooo good!.

Food was delicious - I had the salmon bake and my husband had a burger. Staff was incredibly friendly and nice despite being short staffed. Beer was good. Would go back if Iā€™m Seward again.

We arrived at 5:30 PM and there was a line out the door. I took this as a good sign and bought a beer and waited. It was a pleasant wait on the porch in the beautiful sunshine. We were seated in about 45 minutes and promptly ordered. I had a sample platter with Salmon, halibut and prawns. It was delicious. The beer was a raspberry beer which was also good. Their dessert looked amazing but I was stuffed. The waitress was super friendly and efficient. Love this place and recommend highly!

It is all it's cracked up to be. šŸ™‚ The crab legs and the salmon bake were both very good, but it is the clams that were excellent (def order!). The grilled chicken burger was good, fry's were great, and the seafood chowder (primarily the salmon chowder) is worth ordering as well. Just about the only thing meh was the large salad (for the vegetarian in the family).
There was a 20 min wait, but they have a nice waiting room. Remember to weigh yourself in on the old timey weighing machine, makes for good conversation.
The service is patchy, we had to remind our server Savanah a few times about

From the delectable dill pickles all the way to the baked salmon to the blue berry cobbler this was the finest meal during our week of eating thorough Alaska. Our server Savanah, took personal care of us and we highly recommend Salmon Bake!

One of the best meals I've had start to finish at a restaurant in a long time. There will probably be a 45 min to hour wait but it is worth it. The clam chowder had plenty of fish in every bite. The large bowl is a value at $12. The salmon sandwich was really good and their homemade Berry Crisp dessert was the perfect way to end the meal. My server Savannah took excellent care of me. She has a great attitude. If I ever visit Seward again I will be back no doubt.

Great food and service. We got there 15 minutes before 5pm because they fill up quickly. We got right in and our food came very quickly.
