Our founder, Yizhen Wang, has been in the alterations business for more than 25 years. Alterations Etc. was founded in 1992 and has been open in Tallahassee serving customers ever since. Yizhen takes great pride in her work, frequently reminiscing on all of the satisfied customers she has helped over the past few decades.
We measure, fit, and perform all alterations in our shop. Stop on by with any project you need to alter, we will make measurements, fit it specifically to you, and preform all necessary adjustments. All of our services can be done in 2-4 days, with large projects occasionally taking up to a week. I've been taking clothes to Yizhen at Alterations Etc for custom alterations such as tapering and hemming since at least 2013, and her quality of work and service have been absolutely fantastic! She has been able to make alterations that no other place of business in Tallahassee has been willing to even try. Turnaround time for my clothing is typically 1 week or less.
