Wadena Hide & Fur
A lot of things happen at Wadena Hide and Fur. So much that, sometimes we simply lose track of everything that goes on at our place. What we always remember is that Wadena Hide and Fur is a full service scrap materials recycling center. Our Dad used to say that we are primary processors of secondary materials.

Or you could say that years ago they called it "junk" and we paid for it. But now it's called recycling and we STILL pay for it. Our parents, Charlie and Bernie, moved to Wadena after WWII and took over Wadena Hide and Fur from Max Pink. Today, Wadena Hide and Fur is run by two of his sons, Tom and Rich along with a crew of 10 or so.
Services
We have the largest inventory of steel in the area. If you are in need of flats, angles, square and round tubing, channels, sheets, re-bar, beams or pipe, you will find it here. We also carry aluminum and stainless. We can special order any unique alloys, or unusual material sizes you may need. We also stock a large selection of bushing stock, cold and hot rolled rounds and squares.
Wadena Hide and Fur offers roll-off containers service second to none. If you have a demolition or remodeling project, a roofing job or a foreclosure clean out, we can supply you a bin for the debris. Once you put your stuff in the bin, you don't have to handle it again. We will deliver it to your site and when you're finished we'll haul it to the appropriate disposal facility.

Great place to get metal for projects. Good customer service and reasonable pricing. Also helpful with all your recycling needs.

Not trustworthy. Was given an amount over the phone about how much it would cost and was billed for over double that amount! Not good business, would not recommend! Will never go through this business again!!

On more than 1 occasion they varied their price of what I would be paid per pound after talking to them on the phone about what I was bringing. Not trustworthy.
