Super Helpful! Good range of gear for nearly every budget. I was looking for a some speakers and headphone amp and the staff let me listen for a few hours to different setups. When you walk in you definitely know your are not at Best Buy - no slick come-ons or fancy displays. Just some knowledgeable staff sharking their love of hi-end audio. I recently brought in a turntable with some issues and their staff gave it a quick tune up while I waited and solved the problem.

Great gear & the gentleman working there was nice and knowledgeable. The store itself leaves a lot to be desired tho: musty smell, water damage and holes in the popcorn ceiling, mold or decades of dirt on the air vents, spiderwebs in the corners, creepy art on the walls (but to each their own on art style), equipment boxes (some water damaged) stacked all over the place. Cleanliness would get a 1 star but the awesome equipment bumped the rating up higher.

Always had a very non-friendly experience. The owner treats customers very respectfully. But, this other guy has an abrupt and unwilling, Unwelcoming attitude IMHO.
I dont think I would make another trip up there.
They have great products. But, they are never organized, or does not feel like they are kept well. Needs some keeping up and spruce up the place.
Feel badly for all the great gear that feels like are in dump grounds.

Wandered in about a year ago and was free to roam the rooms and check it out. Bought an inexpensive piece of used gear I found sitting in the back but my mistake was not testing it first. It works but the LED for power on is broken. They gave me a fair price at least but I wasn't overly impressed with the store cleanliness and order of things. When selling high end audio, typically you don't see piles of boxes in sound rooms for their product inventory and half unpacked speakers at the entrance of the store.

I've always enjoyed visiting Audio Perfection. I've bought thousands of dollars worth of equipment on some trips. Others, I've bought an adapter or a small cable. Either way, the staff has been helpful and courteous. I won't spend money at Best Buy because I know the difference professionals make when selection audio gear. I'm sure you'll enjoy the difference using them to help you select your gear.

This place was amazing. I found them through looking for places that sell Grado headphones, and they have a room where you can sit and test each set to compare quality. You can bring in your own vinyl and CDs to test on some of the different sound system setups they have as well. The people working were all very knowledgable and happy answer questions. A comfortable and fascinating place to go.

My family has had a long relationship with audio perfection. My father bought a lot of great equipment here since the 1970s and I purchased my first and second pair of magnepans from mark at audio perfection. All employees have a wealth of knowledge around selecting components and I never feel pressure to buy at this store. It's an amazing place for music lovers that want to connect to their music at a more profound level. There is gear at all price levels, so don't be afraid to check the place out. It will change your perspective on listening to music.

Hello, just thought I drop a comment regarding my great purchase from Audio Perfection. I am a mail order customer and contacted Eric about a Esoteric DV-50s. He advised that he had an in-store unit that was in mint condition. Having demoed a DV-50 elsewhere, I opted to purchase the DV-50s from Audio Perfection without the opportunity to demo it. I can only say that one can rely on Audo Perfection's representations - this universal CD player had no blemishes; the remote control and CD controls work superbly, and the sound of the player is unbeatable. I recommend Perfection Audio to anyone

I just had a great experience buying my first high-quality audio system. I worked with Eric, who was incredible. He knew every spec and price and answered every question I had. I felt ZERO pressure to buy anything and was allowed to try out combinations of amplifiers, cd players, and speakers for 3 hours before settling on my perfect combination.
I was expecting to pay a slight premium for service like this, but after I compared prices I found that Audio Perfection was CHEAPER than Amazon for the components I bought. That was the cherry on top.
