Everyone has a story and I want to tell your story with photography. The wedding day is a narrative of love, a culmination of everything you have built together, and the beginning of a new chapter in your life. I document the details of your day, from the lace on the dress, to the grandeur of the ceremony and, of course, all of the wonderful emotions that spring forth.
I capture your day so that you can relive each of the moments and details for many years to come. For the past 13 years, I have captured over 300 couples weddings. In between shooting 20+ weddings per year, I do pet, commercial and portrait photography. I spend the remaining time with my wife and children traveling and enjoying the outdoors as much as possible.

I've been doing this wedding photography thing a while now, but got into it because of my dad. He handed down cameras to me when I was young (about 6), and I just loved getting back a developed roll of film to see what I had captured. I graduated from UCSC with a psychology degree, and then travelled around the world for almost six months discovering my true passion for photography and the beginning of my future career.
You will have spent countless hours and resources by the time you get to your wedding day. Knowing this, and having gone through the process myself, I feel it is my duty as your photographer to prepare as thoroughly as I can for your wedding. Even though I have over 13 years of weddings under my belt, I find that every wedding is unique and requires special attention and preparation on my part.

My first experience with a camera was when my stepdad handed one down to me when I was 14. I fell in love with photography at that point and decided to pursue a degree in it. I received my BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design in photography in 2009 and haven't been able to put down my camera since!

We are sooo glad we elected to go with Daniel for our wedding photography. Right from the beginning he was easy to talk to and really listened to what we were hoping for heading into our wedding. He worked with us on finding the right package and pricing for our interests. A couple things that really stand out: he builds in a two-hour engagement shoot as part of his packages. I was originally going to wait until my husband and I got our wedding pictures, but we love love love Katelyn. We seriously cannot get over how great she was! Daniel and his associate Katelyn were a joy to work with. Prompt, fun, professional, and talented are the words I'd use to describe them. We hired Daniel as our wedding photographer in October 2019 and were very happy with his services. We did an engagement shoot 8 months before the wedding to get comfortable in front of the camera, and we even got some amazing pictures of our cat :) Daniel was always responsive and gave good advice on how to prepare for the day and some best practices. We decided to meet up in person for the initial meeting, which I appreciated being able to meet face-to-face before we booked him. We found Daniel on an article recommending wedding photographer. I was not sure if Daniel can give us the photos as awesome as his portfolio photos. But found out he did great job and he keeps trying to catch the moments on our big day. Daniel was our photographer for both our engagement photos and wedding photos. He did an amazing job with both. We had so much fun working with him. For our engagement photos he had to work with crazy wind where we could literally hear it howl and had issues moving. We still got amazing pictures where you couldn't tell me were in a wind storm. Daniel is the man! My wife and I just tied the knot in Sebastopol last month and were absolutely stunned at the amazing photographs Daniel took entirely solo! I highly recommend Daniel!
