Now at their new location in South Burlington, their goal remains the same: provide excellent eye care while helping you see and look your best. To bring you 802 Eye Care, Dr. Pincombe and Keith Willis purchased an existing practice from Dr. Thomas W. Meaker, who opened this business back in 1993. Since then, Dr. Meaker has developed a large base of loyal patients who returned year after year for their eye exams.

In the meantime, here's a little bit about who we are, what we do and what we've been up to! Dr. Tiffany Pincombe has been practicing optometry in Vermont since 2004.
We're on Shelburne Road, right near I-189. You'll find us right next to McDonald's and across the street from Panera Bread. We're a short walk away from most shopping destinations, including Hannaford grocery store, Lowe's Home Improvement and many banks and credit unions, so you can get all your shopping and banking done in a single trip while you're here.

My daughter and I both see the eye doctors at 802 Eye care. They are amazing! Both my regular physician and the ophthalmologist couldn't help me with my very dry eyes but the eye doctor at 802 eye care was able to prescribe the right eye drops for the pain and dryness. They also have a great choice of eye glasses and are one of the few places who accept Green Mountain Care. They will take great care of your eye need.

Great selection, great staff and great service. I purchased glasses a year ago and the frame broke and with the pandemic a replacement frame (coming from France) was going to take a few weeks to get. They were able to find a frame that fit my lenses until my replacement frame came in. So very grateful for the effort, my eyes (and I) thank you!

I had a great experience with the Optometrist, she was wonderful. I had a voucher for free glasses through Medicaid. I was not allowed to get any “extras” No in isoline bifocal, no line lenses, literally no extras, which now appears no prism, which I need. The staff I dealt with were not knowledgeable, even down right rude in some cases. The long haired blonde guy was the worst. He was rude and his customer service skills are nonexistent. I paid $58 but they couldn’t figure out for what. The eye exam was suppose to be covered and I was told how to get a voucher for a free pair of glasses

I am extremely grateful. I walked into 802 Eye Care to repair glasses that were a lost cause. They went above and beyond to make sure I walked out with clear vision despite my financial hardship and my 15 pair try on streak. Their customer service makes you feel as if you are family and I will definitely tell everyone and they mama that this is the eye place to go!!!! 🤓🤓🤓🤓

Glasses came in within three days!!
Beyond awesome so light weight really nice looking.
My problem that I have with the place the staff and the optometrist I saw are very cold. Not personable at all.
There was one tech that was bubbly, happy and friendly. Didn't get to work with her..
The optometrist was very blah, zero personality and unwelcoming. I don't have to be friends with her.. but a little empathy and care goes a long way.

What eye care should be like for everyone.
Last year someone sat on, and broke my old pair of glasses. It had been a while since my last ophthalmologist check up. 802 Eye Care rightly told me they couldn't make new frames and lens', without a new prescription.
I was impressed with the new tech they used to establish my eye health, and upgrade my prescription.
Recently, my new frames from 802 Eye Care broke in half at the nose piece. I emailed a picture and a description of what happened. They told me to drop them off/mail them back, as they were under warranty. I got new frames super fast, and

I came here to get my prescription updated , they said my vision was BETTER than what my lenses were. they were super hasty and shady about hidden fees. i left paying $150 and still not being able to see. i went to Advanced Vision Care and they did more thorough testing and basically confirmed that 802 does not know whatsup. now i have updated glasses and can see clearly but it was no help from 802.

What a great place with fantastic, friendly service and practitioners that care about their patients! Great selection of frames and a nice vibe. Their new location is convenient with lots of parking. Oh, and I finally learned what my eye issue were -- that have plagued me for years! So glad I found this place!

After giving many places many chances, I decided to give 802 Eye Care my business. I wished I made that decision when I started searching for eye care provider a long time ago. My glasses are perfect and never give me a headache. I was treated by very professional, attentive and pleasant staff who paid close attention to my needs and did not made me feel like a number. They have a lot to offer so don't let their quiet location direct you elsewhere. In fact on that note, parking is a breeze!

I wish there was a way to give this place more stars. I can't begin to say how amazing 802 eyecare's customer service is so fabulous with adults and for myself a set of 7 year old twins with complex prescriptions. Keith and his staff go above and beyond to make sure everyone is 100% satisfied. It is a welcoming optical center where there easy and laid back. You can tell it is owner operated because Kieth truly cares about every aspect and detail.
