However, the best spray tan develops post rinse, approxiamtely 8-12 hours after application. Our unit has sensors to scan your skin. The unit will automatically adjust the lamp output to make sure you get the best tan without any overexposure. A contoured flat tanning surface, adjustable ventilation and air conditioning to adjust the different settings you desire. It is also programmed to have an adjustable UV exposure system that electronically adjusts the right amount of UVA/UVB output according to the tanner's skin type.

Shady business practices. Was told that I was out of sessions when I had purchased unlimited tanning. Then when I corrected them it was laughed off as a mistake.. I came back believing it was just an error. Until it happened again and was told that my unlimited month was up after only a week. Had to show receipt on my end to prove otherwise and after that have not gone back.have now had the same thing happen to a friend of mine which is why I’m posting

Make sure you keep track of how many sessions you buy. There have been multiple times where I buy sessions in spring, come back in fall and they are "magically" gone. I started keeping track for myself because I was suspicious and did not trust their system. According to my records, I have 3 sessions left.....according to their records, I have none. One of the most important functions of a tanning business is to accurately keep track of sessions. Hopefully, they get their act together.

Great experience! I have never been to a tanning salon and had plenty of questions. Not only was the process thoroughly explained, but I felt very comfortable proceeding in such a clean environment! The previous owners always scared me but one day I needed to run in and get tan before a trip and walked in with the new owner Michele and she was absolutely amazing. She helped me pick the right package for me and my needs. The place was so clean and the beds were amazing. She has all the newest and greatest lotions, and beds. The lights are changed regularly which is very important and then I know I am getting the biggest bang for my buck. I highly recommend beach bum tan. I am also very happy to patronize a local family owned business.

I wasn't planning on leaving a bad review but after starting tanning at a new place and talking to multiple tanning salon owners, I thought it was only fair. I'm sure the owner will call me a liar and say she gave me lots of options but she's not honest, so don't believe. They had an awesome tanning special last year, I think it was 50 sessions for $100 (which they said will never expire). Come end of January they send an email saying all packages expire 6 months from purchase date due to a change in the states laws. That I'm like okay, whatever. I need use my 50 sessions

Great prices i just went in for the black Friday deals early! used the new bed and got awesome color already . thanks girls ill see you the rest of this month before vacation. the place is really clean the girls here are super nice . they upgraded the beds and have soem amazing new ones now. came here last year and it was good now even better. prices are good service is good. love the new owner and staff.

Back in January, Beach Bum Tan had some great deals on tanning packages. I was a student with distant clinicals, so I was interested in purchasing a package for later. I inevitably bought one of the tanning packages. This package was supposed to be "40 sessions any bed including red light, new high-pressure beds, and combo beds. All beds in the house in coming..."

Repeatedly could not locate records of how many tans left in package. (And I note that another reviewer had the same problem!). On at least 3-4 occasions I would come in and be told I had no tans left when I had several. Then they would "look again" and then they would apologize that they saw them from another package.
Once I was told that if you buy a package before you've used all the tans on a previous package, the system doesn't show the old package and they have to look again. The owner or manager (not sure which) said

Beach Bum Tan is my absolute favorite tanning salon. The hours are so convenient, being open early and late - being able to come either before or after work. The facility is always extremely clean and comfortable. The pricing cannot be beat throughout the city and every month she posts different specials. The salon has a wide range of beds and amenities, including red light therapy and spray tanning. Beach bum tan is the absolute best! Very fair prices, AMAZING staff, and very well cleaned / sanitized beds. I’ve been a regular customer for almost a year now. I have no plans on leaving. :) The owner is the SWEETEST. So helpful and always friendly to her customers. She supplies the best lotions! Most are hypoallergenic and even vegan friendly!! Every time I purchase a new lotion, I am given lots of amazing choices that help with my very sensitive skin. 10/10! Highly recommend over any other tanning salon!!

So yesterday I did the Mobil beach bum tan and it was INCREDIBLE! I'm so pleased with it. First, she comes to your house - which is super efficient with my work schedule. Second, she's super sweet and knowledgeable. The only thing I would say is that I'm very pasty like you'd lose me against a white wall (okay maybe not that bad! Ha) but I showered after 3 hours instead of 4 so I would say maybe 2-3 hours if you want sun kissed.
I would suggest for everyone to use the little feet things she gives you because it does get on your feet and it's really hard to get off!

I stopped in on a whim because this is the closest tanning salon to where I live right now. The girl working behind the counter happily answered all of my questions and helped me select a membership package and a lotion that are appropriate for my circumstance.

I always buy 1 month of unlimited tanning in the winter, before I go on vacation. I've been coming to this location for 3-4 years now and always have a good experience. The front desk workers are always friendly, they let my son do his homework in the lobby while I tan quick, and the beds are always clean/nice. Highly recommend!

I was new to tanning in the area. I do fitness shows, and decided to go there and inquire about Tanning packages. The young lady at the front was finishing up with her conversation or I thought. One time I went there and my session was logged incorrectly and the next time I went in I was basically called a liar. I went today because I had 2 sessions left on a package and I was told I don't have any left. I asked who I talk to to resolve this and I was told the owner is on maternity leave, so nobody can help me. Not very good customer service. I've basically been called a liar twice now by this company. I am not a liar and I would like what I paid for.
