We are a full service bike shop surrounded by some of the best mountain biking on the East Coast, and some of the steepest climbs and descents for road riding! While we mostly sell mountain bikes we do work on all bikes. At our shop you will find everything you need to get out on your ride plus a seating area and six taps to relax after a ride or for when you just want to hangout and talk bikes!

When it comes to designing bikes, our philosophy is simple, a bike should feel comfortable and fun from the first pedal stroke. It should invite you to push your limits, ride harder, and become a better rider. We believe a bike should work for all skill levels, sizes, and genders of riders. It should be easy to setup and tune so you can spend more time riding.
We pride ourselves in offering top notch repair services for all types of bikes. We've put together a few service packages to make it easy for you if you just need a tune up. This is by no means a comprehensive list of what we can do. If you need something you don't see on here, just ask and we'll give you a price.
Beech Mountain is 7.9 miles away from our shop and takes about 20 minutes to get to. They have trails for all ability levels. They also have activities for those not looking to ride bikes they offer scenic lift rides, a skybar, disc golf, roller skating, and summer tubing!. Sugar Mountain is just 1 mile away and takes about 3 minutes by car or can be done with a short pedal in around 5 minutes.

I would give 10 stars if possible! We called at 4:00 with a broken shifter cable. We were on Day 3 of a 9 day cycling tour of the Appalachian/Blue Ridge Mtns. JC worked on my bike until 9:30pm & got us back on the road the next morning. He saved our vacation! I cannot express how grateful we are that he put in so much time & effort on our road bike. Thank you!! Best mechanic ever!

In Banner Elk for a week getting some riding in. Broke my shifter cable finishing up my ride yesterday. Call Headquarters to see if it would be possible to get my ride fixed, would have take an act of congress at home! Not only did they say they could get it in without any issue. Went back to the resort and wow text came in less than two hours, it was ready! Can’t say enough to thank these guys for getting my rig back at it so fast. Thank you. Gary

Husband and I went in last minute over the weekend to get the brakes from our downhill bikes fixed. They immediately helped us out so we could be out on the mountain the same day despite expecting some busy hours in the store. Very knowledgeable staff and patient answering all my questions. Awesomeness great and helpful staff. They always have the parts, and accessories you need or forgot before a ride in stock! Great honest opinions on current bike tech and upgrades. Awesome knowledge of the local trails! I Regularly drive past 3 other bikes shops to go to these folks for my mountain biking needs! Especially since thier pricing is competitive with many online retailers!
