Services
In April of 1870, the construction of the St. Louis - San Francisco railroad line ended up placed just north of the city of Springfield. This established an entirely new city: North Springfield. The people of Springfield had formally joked about the possibility of railroads in Springfield, claiming that there would be a town on the moon before a railroad runs through the city.
At The Barley House we offer a variety of different packages and vendors to help you get started on your planning process. We loved this venue! Interestingly, the building was built with wooden dowels (no screws) and is impressive. I can’t wait to show my engineer dad this spot next time he is in town. The staff was awesome to work with. Sami was amazing to work with and made sure our event was awesome. Highly recommend!

The girls at The Barley House are AMAZING!!!!! They made our wedding day run so smoothly. It was so perfect! I HIGHLY recommend spending your special day at this venue. The building is so beautiful and it feels so authentic compared to other barn-like venues. The girls made everyone feel so welcomed and made sure we were all taken care of, making our experience stress free!

We had our wedding reception at The Barley House 2 weeks ago and had such a great experience. Cassidy and her team were amazing to work with and truly went above and beyond in helping us plan the most perfect event. They were quick to respond to my many questions throughout the whole process...no matter the time of day! Beyond the staff, the venue is so beautiful. All our guests were blown away with the space and everyone loved the outdoor courtyard! If you are looking for a venue for your special day, you won’t regret booking at The Barley House!

I do not even know where to begin. This venue, this staff.....everything is absolutely perfect. We did not end up getting to host our wedding here due to COVID-19 complications but had booked with them for over a year. They were there every single step of the way without fail. Through all the changes, orders, mandates, ect. Cassidy and her team truly make every effort to make all your bridal dreams come true. We were truly devastated when we had to cancel our plans with Moontown due to the pandemic but they were supportive of us as a couple and truly wanted the best for us, whatever our wedding

Let’s just start by saying this VENUE is PERFECT! Having our wedding postponed for a little wasn’t easy, but the best decision to make for our families since we wanted them there. It was STILL so special! Our day was so beautiful and perfect and the barely house team made it just that. Helped us in every way possible to Make this day still possible for us during this time and circumstances that there were. This venue also has the best place to put drapery up! Trust me, you won’t regret it and you’ll love it! Amazing place for photos as well, from the barn doors, string lighting, patio area

This venue and team were amazing to work with for our wedding reception. When we first visited the venue, we chuckled at the location between a hotel and liquor store but our out of town guests were thrilled when they realized that the reception was truly within walking distance of their hotel room (I put this on our invitation but people assumed I meant blocks not within feet). This barn is so beautiful and gives people a lot of space to create something special. Also, our band was so excited that the barn had so much exposed wood and the perfect spot for a stage because it helped their sound

The venue is truly breathtaking! We knew that this had to be the venue we used for the most special day of our lives! Not only is the venue amazing, the staff is amazing as well.
