Our family owned and operated business is our pride and joy. Carrol "Poto" Babin and his wife Joyce started Babin's Auto Glass in a small shop next to their home in Gonzales in 1967. Their sons, Brent and Bert, joined the business, and after 20 years of success, Babin's Auto Glass was relocated to Airline Highway where we could be more accessible to the growing population of Gonzales and surrounding areas.
At Babin's Auto Glass, we offer a variety of services and products for both commercial and privately owned vehicles. We offer state of the art windshield repair, using the best resins on the market. Most repairs are complete within 15 minutes, and no appointment is necessary. Many insurance companies waive your comprehensive deductible for a rock repair, so there is no cost to you.

My front windshield took a rock and I needed it replaced. Although not an immediate priority, my time was limited. They worked with me and got me in between appointments. Thank You! They did excellent work and customer service! Definitely recommend Babins is you need vehicle window repair/replacement!

Fast and friendly service. I used Babin's years ago with my previous car. They still have the best service when it comes to your glass needs. I called this go around and they told me to come right on..15 minutes top..and I kid you not, I was in and out. I will continue to use them for all of my needs.

I had to have my rear glass replaced after a rock flew into it from my neighbor cutting his grass. After calling several window replacement shops I contacted Babin's. Through conversations with the businesses, I discovered there are differences in glass manufacturers and some are very poorly rated. The glass one dealer wanted to use, Babin's doesn't carry just for that reason. I scheduled the appointment and they delivered as promised on a timely basis. I did have quite a bit of small glass pieces in the trunk, around the rubber seals and on my back seats when I picked it up, so

My wife and I were traveling from Dallas to New Orleans for or Vacation to celebrate our anniversary. While traveling through Baton Rouge a rock or something hit the rear driver's side window and broke it. We began searching for auto glass stores in the area while driving. I was in town on business when my passenger window would not go up. I needed a place to go before the rain started. I found Babin's on the internet. My 1998 Ford Explorer had a rear window that would not work at all. They worked on my car like a NASCAR pit crew. Great people in the front, and great mechanics in the back. They fixed my passenger window jam (which is why it would not go up), and repaired a switch issues with my rear window. The repairs were under $100, and took less than an hour, with a fresh pot of coffee made when I arrived. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Super friendly and family owned. Babin's fixed my car's window switch and weather seal in 15 minutes and for an extremely reasonable price. I had previously had my car in the dealership (in another state) 3 different times while under warranty and they were never able to figure out what was wrong with my window. These are great people - highly trust and recommend!
