Design Studio C, Ltd. was founded in 1998 to offer professional architectural services that cater to entrepreneurial clients. Over the years, we have designed hundreds of projects throughout the collar counties around Chicago, Illinois as well as southeastern Wisconsin, and built a select few over the years before discontinuing Construction Management Services in 2016.
We have worked with company founders to expand their businesses, landlords improving their buildings for tenants, restauranteurs moving into new locations, dentists, doctors, auto recyclers, contractors, investors, developers, and not-for profit companies. Design Studio C, Ltd. has been offering simple elegant solutions for our clients for over 17 years. We are a business-focused Architect led Design/Build firm specializing in Remodeling, Redeveloping and Refurbishing existing buildings, serving both residential and light commercial clients. We are located in downtown Waukegan to conveniently service the North Shore, South East Wisconsin as well as the Chicago metropolitan area.
If adequate existing documentation is not available, we will field measure the existing building and prepare accurate drawings that allow us to develop plans that reflect the actual field conditions to be considered. During Preliminary Design we meet and discuss your needs and begin to develop a preliminary site strategy for your project.
Design Studio C, Ltd. has over ten years in adaptive re-use of existing buildings, whether an interior remodel, sympathetic addition, or complete facelift. As you can see, the possibilities for re-inventing spaces are almost endless. However, it takes experience to understand the pitfalls and the opportunities.
