Critical: Professionalism, Quality
Every time I call to get my account rolled over they say that they need to have someone else to call me back... I don't answer b/c of work and then I just keep going over the same process. awful

This is the WORST company EVER. I lost my job and requested a distribution back in May and still have not received it. They charged a $75 fee to process my request. On my last call I requested to speak with a supervisor because they want to charge me a $25 fee to stop and reissue the check, I was told by the representative that they didn't have anyone available so I would have to receive a call back in about 2 days. That was over 3 weeks ago and I NEVER received a call from them. Today I tried again and was told the same thing that a supervisor would call me back but when I said I didn't mind waiting

My problems started right out the gate in November 2020 when I initially began applying for another 401K loan. I updated my mailing address on my account via online. As soon as I did this Aspire put a 2 week freeze on my account. Frustrating but understandable at the time.
It was 2 weeks later that things completely fell apart. I log back into my account to apply for said loan. I check my profile to confirm my updated mailing address. The only field that was changed / saved was the ZIP code. I'm fairly certain I entered my info correctly 2 weeks prior. I call their customer service. A gentlemen

Twice now, they have not processed my 403b contributions. The financial advisor and myself are getting the same run around. The check was cashed but never posted to my account. The service rep confirms the deposit, but doesn't understand why it has not posted to the account. The 1st time it took 4 weeks to figure out the problem, now we are on week 3.

Rude on the phone if you can actually get ahold of them. Have acquired and are simply charging me fees (not investing to create returns for me) to hold my account but make it very difficult to reposition or transfer funds.

Aspire has the worst customer service I have EVER experienced.
They issued my distribution check out to the incorrect recipient and in turn wanted me to pay a $25 processing fee. Aspire did not show me proof that I entered the recipient address wrong, did not contemplate the possibility that their end might also have been at fault, nor suggest alternative ways of solving this problem. Instead, I spent nearly two months being passed to different customer service reps and managers who refused my request of waiving the fee without suggesting any helpful alternatives. Overall, I dealt with incompetent

I own a financial planning firm, and Aspire is one of the most garbage administrative companies that I have ever dealt with. Their fees on their 403(b) accounts are great, but that is literally the only reason that we use them as there are no better alternatives in the 403(b) space.

Everything that the previous 1 star reviews mentioned is accurate. I received an email confirming that my transaction was processed over a month ago. When I called today, I was told that the transaction was not processed because the information was illegible. Which is odd, because I completed the transaction online. Whoever I spoke with said that I should have been contacted (never was). On top of all that, I was not provided with a solution. FYI this has been going on since July of 2017

Aspire is transitioning my prior companies individual 401K pension plans from the prior handling company. For good reason the prior company was disposed as the handler. Aspire has horribly handled the transition process via a failed plan. Aspire has pointed the finger at the previous employer where my 100% vested 401K Plan resided for administrative purposes. The company either provided a bad and deficient plan or failed miserably in advising the company on transitioning the Plan. I am now in a blackout period and have NO information about my account, no access, NOTHING. I contacted Aspire as the

I wanted to make a public statement about the customer service I found with this company. I worked with several individuals while working with my retirement account, and I found them to all be very helpful and friendly. One individual in the customer service department went above and beyond my expectations, and this young ladies' name is Lilly. She is outstanding at her job! Thank you so much.
