Ginette completed her four year Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is an Illinois licensed Acupuncturist and Nationally Board Certified Chinese Herbalist. Ginette has hundreds of additional training hours in fertility, Chinese herbal medicine, distal needling and Balance Method acupuncture.
She is certified in advanced cupping methods. Ginette is also a board certified Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (FABORM), which requires extensive training and expertise to pass the ABORM national board examination, as well as a continued commitment to the ever evolving research and protocols involved in this field.

At AWF Clinic a variety of modalities under the scope of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) are utilized, in addition to other advanced styles of acupuncture, Chinese herbal therapy, dietary therapy, and tailored supplemental protocols to enhance overall treatment. Acupuncture is one part of the comprehensive system of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) services. Depending on the nature of one's health, acupuncture may be used alone or in conjunction with other TCM techniques. In China herbal medicine is considered extremely important in the course of one's treatment, even at times taking precedence over acupuncture.
Most people barely feel a thing when needles are inserted. Some people feel a slight pinch, and others ask "Is it in yet?" The reason acupuncture needles don't give the painful sensation you might expect is because they're very thin in comparison to the hypodermic needles used to give injections. Hypodermic needles are necessarily hollow so that the shot can be injected.
Fertility Acupuncture is becoming much more of a mainstream treatment for couples to address fertility concerns. Unfortunately, infertility is on the rise and modern day living appears to be a big contributing factor. It is about a 50/50 split between male and female factor fertility issues.
Modern day issues such as stress, excessive work, lack of sleep and exercise, consuming nutrient depleted foods, exposure to daily toxins in our environment, and the decision to have children later in life, are all contributing factors to fertility challenges.As more western style (double-blind, placebo controlled) studies indicate the effectiveness of acupuncture in increasing IVF success, interest by western doctors has also increased.

This is a nonprofit organization that supports women through their fertility journey by providing free mentorship, support and education to empower and promote a proactive approach to fertility and women's health. Ginette is great! So knowledgeable, caring, and thorough. After 3 years of infertility, and many rounds of "western medicine" to treat it with no success, I was ready to give up. I decided to try acupuncture, and within 2 months and just a handful of sessions with Ginette, we fell pregnant naturally. I can't say for sure that acupuncture is what did it, but the timing would be an incredible coincidence otherwise. Highly, highly recommend that anyone struggling with fertility issues come see Ginette!

Ginette is incredibly knowledgeable and strives to work with you to resolve your health issue. She is patient, kind and truly invested in your health. I've also learned a lot about foods and supplements that help to heal my body. I came to her because my doctor wanted to prescribe a medicine, but I wanted to try a more natural route. I found a place where somebody is listening to me (and in chases of fertility problems you need somebody to hear you) and really trying to help me. Ginette is the sweetest person, who takes your personal story very serious and she is doing everything possible to help. I highly recommend her. I have not enough good words for her!

Life changing...my first appointment with Ginette was incredible. Her knowledge, insight, and compassion are truly unmatched.
A friend encouraged me to make an appointment after her own amazing experience at the acupuncture wellness and fertility clinic. Although my friend and I went for different reasons/concerns, we both experienced immediate improvement and increases well-being/healing from Ginette’s acupuncture services.

Ginette is absolutely wonderful, caring, and so knowledgeable. I am seeing her for fertility (going through IVF cycles, and have low ovarian reserve). I actually just got pregnant - and think that Ginette's acupuncture sessions truly helped. Even though it was a miscarriage, I am hoping that the next time it will be successful... Ginette also gives wonderful advice on nutrition and supplements. She takes her time with you and does not rush. Together, we developed a plan for me to prepare for the next IVF cycle. (What a difference compared to my previous acupuncturist I used to see in Wheaton).
