This venue is magnificent. We had a staff event here recently, and I was blown away. The renovations are stunning without losing the history and charm of the property. All I can say is...WOW!!!

We truly can't say enough about The Elm Estate and their team. They were by our side through wedding planning for over 2 years. Beyond being the most gorgeous location we could have imagined, they were incredibly responsive to feedback, professional, and truly cared about us and our day. Great place for HOT AUGUST NIGHTS! All of the representatives who works there was Amazing! They were so friendly. They made sure we happy there. Our rooms was super clean, and refreshing. Inside each cottages they had provided sodas, waters and juices. Also snacks, coffee, and pastries. Thank you Sarah, and thank you to your staff!! We loved everything there!! The most beautiful wedding venue in Reno. So professional and made me (as the bride) feel that every detail was incorporated and that all my needs would be met. The only thing that I would change is that once your belongings are in the main house, after the ceremony you need to remove these items and it feels a little rushed, so maybe plan accordingly. Otherwise absolutely no complaints.

From a vendor perspective, we really enjoy working with Shannon, Megan and the entire team at The Elm Estate! Their communication skills are incredible because they keep us well informed during the planning process for clients. Plus they provide us very detailed timelines to follow during the day of the events. We also find they are very responsive when we call or email them with questions about the events. I’m a photographer in the Reno/Tahoe areas & the Elm Estate is by far the best Venue in Reno. Their vendor team is some of the most accommodating, amazing & big hearted humans I’ve ever worked with. The aesthetic, lighting and space is beautiful and so inclusive and the best part is you can party and don’t have to worry about driving you can stay the night as they offer the coziest, modern cottages on site. I am so excited to review The Elm Estate! My (now) husband and I had an overall amazing experience working with The Elm Estate for our June wedding- even during a pandemic! Working with The Elm Estate has been a stressful, frustrating, and brutal experience. I typically do not leave negative reviews as I believe everyone has different experiences, however in this case I feel it is extremely important that future brides understand our difficulties in working with The Elm Estate. First, our initial meeting with The Elm Estate was great. The property is beautiful, we were offered drinks and snacks upon arrival, and met with an event coordinator and their General Manager to discuss our wedding vision. Beautiful property and very friendly employees. we took a tour and thought it was the perfect venue. however, they never gave us a quote. we called and asked and they apologized and said they'd have it by the end of the day - they didn't. i called again and left a message and they still will not get back to me. i'm sure this isn't common for them, but regardless, i'm disappointed.

The venue is a lovely set up for a wedding site. Our issue revolved around lack of communication. It didn't matter whether you called, e-mailed or texted, the response time was either extremely long or no response was received. We hope that since more staff have been added that going forward this issue will be resolved. It would be in everyone's interest to be readily available to answer any questions that patrons may have before their event takes place.

An absolutely beautiful venue! The grounds are amazing and everything is clean and tidy. The attention to detail is impressive. I cannot think of a better spot to celebrate a special occasion.

Vesta and I had done a few weddings there, when it was the Chism House, and we liked shooting there back then a lot. Plus, the large open tent they used for receptions made for plenty of light, so we didn't have to use a flash during the reception till it got dark.

We were interested in the Elm Estate for a wedding venue. The grounds and event spaces are nicely remodeled - beautiful house to get ready or stay after the wedding. Not a great area of Reno but seems to be improving. I am leaving two stars due to the lack of responsiveness from the event team and zero transparency into their pricing. You are given a contract with the venue fee and are required to sign and leave a deposit before any food and beverage pricing is provided. This works for unlimited budgets however is a non starter if you're trying to manage a budget. I have also not been able

A few friends had a great idea to get a table for a wine tasting event that happened to fall on a snowy evening. It was the perfect place to be cozy and enjoy a night of dancing and dinner with friends. The food was catered by Roundabout Grill and was completely different from their normal restaurant menu, which we enjoyed. A small California winery supplied the wine tasting. Can't wait to attend more events here soon.

I went to an event at The Elm Estates in February. It was amazing! I was greeted at the door and they offered to take my jacket and hang it up. We were then offered to either sit, go to the bar or just walk around. The place and decor was beautiful! So classy and elegant! The food and wine choices were superb! Who ever chooses the vendors does an amazing job! I would absolutely recommend this venue for any event coming up! I could totally see a wedding or any event that wants nothing but top notch everything here. I hope to be back real soon!!

What an awesome night out at the Elm Estate. We attended Love Bites for Twisted Oak Winery and Roundabout Grill, dinner and wine pairing. It was such a great ambiance, the venue was amazing and the wine was pretty good too. I would recommend the Elm Estate for anyone looking into a wedding venue or party. What an amazing property that has been beautifully renovated.

I got a chance to visit the Elm Estate while attending a recent awards dinner. Though I didn't tour the entire facility, what I did see was impressive. Beautiful landscaping, and very modern amenities that compliment rather than completely replace the heritage architecture. Management and staff were on the ball with excellent service. If I were planning a large event and wanted to leave a lasting impression on guests, this place would be at the top of the list.
