What makes our office unique is Dr. Branning and Dr. Felger's ability to customize your exam and make eyewear recommendations based on your lifestyle needs. West Shore Eye Care provides comprehensive, personlized medical eye care in a caring environment. We also have the largest selection of eye wear in the area.
American Board of Optometry, Diplomate Status earned in 2014. This distinction has been achieved by only 8% of optometrists in the country. To attain this honor, Dr. Branning completed a series of rigorous post-graduate activities, documented extensive continuing education, participated in review classes and completed a seven-hour computer based examination.
Jenny has worked in the medical industry since 1985, and specifically in the eye care industry since 2004. Jenny joined our staff in 2011 as a Certified Paraoptometric Technician. In addition to doing exam pre-testing and scribing, Jenny conducts special testing such as Visual Fields and Retinal Photos.
We provide thorough eye exams using the latest technology. What sets our office apart from others is that we also take time to listen to your concerns and present treatment options tailored specifically to your needs. Physical eye health exam: The external and internal parts of the eyes are examined using special instruments like a slit lamp biomicroscope, binocular indirect ophthalmoscope and special focusing lenses.
The doctors at West Shore Eye Care treat many patients suffering from Dry Eye Syndrome (DES) and symptoms of dry eyes. For various reasons, the number of people suffering from dry eyes has increased in recent years. Some researchers feel DES could be considered an epidemic!

I always have a great experience when I go in there, the girls are wonderful they're upbeat And always smiling.
I go to her because I need more than just regular eye care I have a medical problem with my eyes and she sent me to a retinal specialist and between the 2 of them they keep very good Care of my eyes.

Original Review: Yesterday a message was left from their office that I am Overdue for my yearly exam. Because their Ludington office structure is so open, I don't plan on making an appointment at that office (the entry and waiting rooms are too open and there is an echo).

The lady that answers the phone is rude and very unknowlegable. Call to set up an appointment and was told exam would be between $10-$95. Actually exam was $195. She said that's the price and offered no explanation.
Wife got the same contact lens exam at Reimer for $10 with the exact same insurance.

I had a great experience at West Shore Eye Care. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Every step was clearly explained and I left with a solid understanding of what I should be doing to protect my eyes. They even check your sunglasses for you to make sure they are protecting your eyes well. Highly recommend for anyone who has vision issues or wants to know more about preventive care!
