My GF and I were heading north to San Francisco from Los Angeles. The deli section was the perfect solution for a casual to-go picnic at the ocean in Cayucos.
We asked Tyler at the deli counter for a Cobb Salad and a Cachuma Chicken Sandwich. Both were going to be made fresh.
Tyler knocked it out of the park on both items! The salad had lots of blue cheese crumbles, thick bacon, etc., along with grilled chicken. The sandwich used toasted bread, lots of fresh veggies, and a very tasty grilled chicken!
We added a half bottle of Cambria’s Chardonnay - Katherine’s Vineyard, and continued on

Cute market with lots of local products (that's what the stars are for); also ordered a tri-tip sandwich because I've heard great things, and it was $15 for yummy (but squished) bread and the tri-tip was only 1 THIN slice "thick." I've paid ½ that for 4x the tri-tip at many other places. The meat was cooked well, but I couldn't believe how expensive it was for little to no meat. Salsa was yummy, but I ran out of sandwich before I could use the tiny side cup of salsa.

Omggggg my BLT was incredible!!
They were out of sourdough, but I was able to hand them a loaf of San Luis Sourdough (the best there is) off the shelf of the grocery store and they were happy to abide!
Very satisfied!
The outdoor seating was cool, the benches bend back and cradle you, super comfortable.

Excellent market! They recently gone under remodel and it looks really nice. This store feels like family with a professional and clean atmosphere. The deli stadf are really talented and made some of the best food in the valley. The Cachuma Chicken is an incredible hot sandwich that never disappoints. 5/5

Way above average of high end, high quality, not often found products. The deli counter was very good. Expensive. 9+ bucks for a ham and swiss sandwich on sourdough. The fact is ... It's worth it. Quality makings top to bottom. Cordial, helpful guy on the counter. They get a ton of tourists. There is an observable difference in attitude and helpfulness depending on if your a local or not a local. I can understand to some degree but more effort a parity would serve the store well. I'd go back for sure.
