Wax Werks Waxing Salon is a quaint, private and professional salon that focuses only on waxing services for Men and Women. In sensitive areas we use a specialized hard wax that when cools, lifts itself from the surface of your skin so while the hair is getting removed there is little discomfort with minimal to no irritation to your skin.
When patients hear the word dermaplaning, they quickly associate the term with the procedure known as dermabrasion, and won't even consider it as a possible treatment. Dermabrasion is a medical procedure in which the skin is abraded down to the dermis using a whisklike device. There are many complications associated with dermabrasion, including infections and scarring, which is why it is not commonly used anymore.
A professional salon waxing should last for between three to six weeks depending on your normal rate of regrowth. Regular waxing is known to slow and soften the new hair. You're guaranteed at least three weeks of hairless looking skin. Just imagine your summer holiday without having to pack a razor or any smelly depilatory creams - no stubble, dark shadowy armpits or prickly arms or private parts.
Moisturize and exfoliate waxed areas daily to prevent in-grown hair (not until the next day after waxing). Come in for waxing if you are using: Retin-A, Accutane, Blood Thinners, Cortisone, Acne Medication or any other Exfoliates or Hydroxy based products on area to be waxed. Use sun bed, sunbathe or go swimming, apply deodorant, or make up for up to 24 hours after waxing.
Beautifully shaped eyebrows with a nice arch are an important part of a polished look. When done well, eyebrow shaping calls attention to your eyes, lifts and frames them and makes them appear bigger. Long Face: a more horizontal eyebrow with an arch that is further out towards your hair line will make your face appear fuller.

Was really scared to even call and get an appointment but Elizabeth was so welcoming and treated me really well. I went there for removing back hair and she was super quick but at same time made sure I am feeling good.

Full disclosure, I am the daughter's owner and also one of the aesthetician's old friends from elementary school. None the less, my eyebrows are one of my favorite features thanks to Martha's artful HARD WAXING. Tesla has waxed my mustache and I've had the pleasure of one of her totally relaxing and hydrating FACIALS. This place is adorable, it is a sanctuary of self care by extremely kind and good women.
