First Responders - Billings Police Department, Billings Fire Department, American Medical Response and Yellowstone County Sheriff's Department and other surrounding area law enforcement. The Community Crisis Center is the first point of access for people in our community seeking crisis stabilization services for mental health, substance abuse and/or social service needs regardless of their ability to pay.

The Community Crisis Center utilizes an interconnected network of collaborative programs and services to provide the best level of care at the most efficient and effective site of care. The Community Crisis Center increases the number of services available and reduces the number of admissions to local emergency rooms and the Montana State Hospital.
Services
The Community Crisis Center is filling the healthcare gap by providing assessment and referral services to people in crisis who need access to integrated mental health, chemical dependency, and social services. Professional staff will provide these services as a licensed Montana Mental Health Center.
Our trained staff of counselors, nurses, and mental health workers are available to help provide a safety screening for those people in crisis. This screen is to assess the safety of a person involving themselves and others. Our counselors and nurses will work with clients to develop an individualized stabilization plan designed to meet a client's needs.
Works independently and according to established policies and procedures to provide assessments and referrals to clients presenting directly to the Community Crisis Center (CCC). Counselor determines if the client is in need of being admitted for crisis stabilization services and further develops a stabilization plan for within the facility and upon discharge from our care.

I am a homeless, pregnant Veteran. I served 6-years in the United States Military and I am currently having a very difficult time right now. I just tried calling the Crisis Center to ask a question and the old lady who answered sceamed,"Quit calling!". I couldn't get through the first time I called because I had a bad connection. The employees' are very disrespectful.
