We are 35 people strong, made up of experienced and talented estimators, project managers, craftsmen, and engineers. 50% of the team has been with us for more than 10 years and many of them have been with the company for 20-35 years. Grand Valley Wood Products has been proudly serving the West Michigan area for almost 40 years. We provide custom architectural millwork to general contractors and end-users in the West Michigan area and beyond. We also provide both commercial and residential solid surface countertops and claddings.
We provide everything from custom laminate and veneer casework to solid surface and stone countertops. We are manufacturers that produce the majority of our offerings in-house and we have trusted local partners for specialty items. Our local partners provide us with hardwood processing, upholstery, metal work, and stone surfaces.
We specialize in custom solid surface countertops and solid surface cladding for both residential and commercial clients. We can fabricate custom elements for the kitchen, bath, office or any other space that you can dream up. Simple or complex, small or large, we can help. After many years of fabrication and installing granite, marble, and quartz, Surfaces of Michigan will be phasing out of this market.
Grand Valley Wood Products is an active AWI national member and we build our casework to meet AWI Standards. GVWP is also very engaged with the local AWI Great Lakes Chapter. The current President of the AWIGL Chapter is our very own company President, Shawn Hager, and the current Chapter Secretary is our Finance and HR Manager, Amber Shoemaker.
In just the past year, we have had the opportunity to work with Grand Valley on some very diverse projects. One was a very large production job with an extremely aggressive schedule. Another was smaller but very detailed and fully custom. Grand Valley Wood Products was great to work with!
