Greer Lodge Resort & Cabins
With nearly all of our cabins located right on the water, you'll be placed just moments from our fully stocked ponds for catch & release fishing. We also feature dog-friendly cabins so your furry friends can enjoy nature as well! Locally owned and operated, we take great pride in our fine accommodations, and have become known as Greer's best resort and lodge.

In fact, we were even named as one of Sunset Magazine's Top 9 Resorts in the West where you can Touch Nature! These Arizona cabins are among the best you'll find anywhere in the state! Here is a place where one can experience nature's wonder, with clean, crisp mountain air and endless blue skies in the beautiful town of Greer, a quiet rural village in northern Arizona.
Services
Each stand-alone cabin operates as its own house, with its own air system and all the necessary amenities, including full kitchens. Our cabins are thoroughly cleaned before guests arrive. You won't even need to check in when you arrive; simply head over to your cabin and make yourself at home.

Greer houses several wonderfully quaint restaurants, though guests also stock their fridges with food from nearby grocery stores in Eager and Springerville, just 20 minutes away.Times certainly are strange these days, but it may be quite a bit nicer if you spend it relaxing in the pristine nature of Greer, Arizona.
All Our Cabins & Rooms are ON the WATER! We own all of our Cabins. Cabins that Sleep 4, 6, 8 and 12. All are On the River or Private Trout Pond, centrally located on Historic Main Street in the "Village" of Greer close or adjacent to the National Forest. Find the cabin that is right for your stay. Choose between a cabin on the Little Colorado River or on Private Trout Ponds for your next mountain escape in the Arizona White Mountains.
Our cabins are "housekeeping" cabins, which means they feature kitchens, we provide the essentials you need to cook with, and the utensils you need to eat & drink with; but we do not provide coffee, toiletries, hair dryers or detergents, so be sure to bring your own. These cabins do NOT have a washer / dryer.
Cabins that Sleep 8 are On the Water! On a River, Spring-fed stream, and/or a Private Trout Pond. They are centrally located on Main Street in the "Village of Greer", and border the National Forest. Panoramic views of the Greer Mountains! See Bald Eagles, Elk & Deer from your covered front porch! Nicely decorated interiors and great front porches.
The lovely town of Greer is the premier nature retreat in Arizona. Located just a few hour's drive from major cities like Tucson and Phoenix, the tiny mountain town is filled with beautiful trails, abundant wildlife, and delectable cabins that bring in thousands to visit Greer every year!

The Little Colorado River runs right through the center of the Greer Lodge property alongside several of our fabulous cabins, making it a unique waterside destination, something extremely rare in the state!Somebody planning a visit to Greer has endless options for choosing both when to visit and what to do here.

Gorgeous cabin, and gorgeous view.
My only complaint is I had accidentally left my keys inside one of the cabins, and when I called they offered to mail me my keys— Which was wonderful and very nice of them, but the following week was me calling every day only to be told they hadn’t mailed them, or the person on shift that day wasn’t aware they had to be mailed out. I’m a little disappointed in the lack of communication as this situation had me and my dog stranded in my friends apartment for a week, and having to buy a new set of car keys.
They offered to mail my keys to me, and proceeded

Rolled into Greer without much of a plan. Asked in the Main Office if there was any vacancy expecting to be turned away, to my surprise there was an affordable cabin available.
Said cabin was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. All the needed amenities were provided, and despite the very cold winter night (18 degrees forecasted in Greer) the cabin was very warm.
Had a great night and a pleasant morning. Will come back.

Had the opportunity to spend some days in this amazing secluded place. I was not sure what to expect, however at our arrival I was surprisingly pleased with the cabins and the beautiful view of the little creek, snowy mountains and the tranquility we experienced.
The cabin was perfect for our family of 4, it allowed everyone to enjoyed their own space with all the comfort teenagers needs. I can’t wait to visit again especially since everyone working there were hospitable and friendly.
The grounds we’re clean and had easy access to explore the nature around.

We stayed in Cabin 281 on the trout pond. Very nice. However, the trout are so over fed ( people throw cat food into the pond to see them surface) that the fish are NEVER going to bite on your fishing line. We tried. Also something needs to be done about the stove in this cabin. The broiler is actually at the bottom of the stove ( basically at the floor level) and if there is an automatic igniter, it doesn't work. My daughter was lying on the floor trying to figure it out and the broiler exploded into flame, almost singeing her hair and eyebrows. Very scary.

We stayed 2 nights in Cabin #253. It was an enjoyable, relaxing get-away! The communication prior our arrival was excellent! We were notified via text message and check-in and check-out was a breeze! The cabin was clean, and the staff was helpful and very accommodating. We had our meals in house and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you for a peaceful weekend. We'll surely come back!

Expensive, outdated with poor repair. Reservation system is in serious need of being updated, just for ease of use. Then website shows you one cabin and after getting to your cabin it's completely different, classic bait and switch which is disappointing. For the price this place costs one would expect better accomodations.

We scheduled a family reunion at Greer Lodge for 2020. I booked two cabins for my family and my sister's family and paid up front. Due to Covid, we had to cancel and I was given a credit (due to no refunds) that expired on 7/17/21. I had enough of a credit (and more) that I booked what I was told the "only cabin available, #88" for seven days. We drove almost 10 hours to get to Greer Lodge from Texas. Greer was absolutely beautiful, but our cabin was not. We had what appeared to be the most dated cabin, and didn't appear to have been cleaned very well. The bathroom sink was dirty, there wasn't

It is a beautiful place don't get me wrong. The people that work there are not. Do not plan on booking something with them and expect to get the same place they told you that you would get. Super shady with giving people discounted rates and then if someone is willing to pay full price they will act like the place was already booked and they forgot. This happened to me and my fiancé MID DRIVE not just once but twice. Mid drive is being nice. It was a 5 hour drive and we were 45 minutes from the location they said was ours for the night. We were 4 hours from our house at this point as they

Never saw any of the employees. Place was a bit dusty but not too bad. Was an enjoyable time. It snowed day and night and my kids enjoyed it. Had to shovel snow for the first time in 3 years. My car got stuck. Hope to return during warmer months. Buy all your supplies/food ahead of time.

It is utterly deceptive to refer to this place as Greer Lodge. The famous lodge built in 1948 was burned to the ground via arson during the great recession financial crisis. What remains is a shadow of the once impressive lodge and the ads showing the lodge are at least a decade old. Don't come here thinking you will get to sit at the once-magnificent fireplace or looking through the great windows overlooking the Little Colorado River. That is long gone.

We stayed in cabin 284, beautiful view but cabin was very dusty, most of the blinds didn't work, beds were horrible, limited kitchen supplies, outside chairs were more like office chairs, no extra blankets, grounds were unkept. For $250 a night they need to clean things up a bit.

Really cool cabins but you have to know what you are getting yourself into:

Only toilette paper, hand soap and dish soap is provided - no shampoo, no salt, no cooking oil - nothing! You have to bring everything yourself and the closest big store is 30 min away and the closest Safeway is an hour away.

Heater max temp in the winter is set to 72 and only one blanket per bed is provided - so depending on your preference bring extra blankets!

WiFi signal was pretty good but cellular signal goes on an off

On the bright side:

Management is super responsive, you can borrow games from the office,

We spent 2 nights in a cabin along the little river. It was so wonderful! Check in was so easy, they sent us a text with directions and told us our cabin was open and the key was inside! We could go straight to it and begin our vacation. The cabin itself was SO beautiful! It was nicer than some of the posh hotels in Phoenix! We loved the space and decorations and amenities. There were plenty of pillows and the bed was comfy. The kitchen provided a full size fridge, dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker/filters. Bring your own coffee though (and bath toiletries). To say the

We had a two night stay in cabin #96 and could not find anything negative to say! Let's start off with the scenery.... absolutely breathtaking and picture perfect. The cabin grounds were very well kept. Inside, we were welcomed with a fresh, crisp scent. (Most cabins we've stayed at have that dingy mold smell) everything you see in the pictures is what you get. Bed linens and towels were clean and smelled great. Bed was pretty comfortable and slept quite well. The sound of the running creek was so soothing. I highly recommend Greer Lodge cabins!!!
