Founded in 1929, Camp Nebagamon is a traditional summer camp for boys located in the Northwoods of Wisconsin on the shore of beautiful Lake Nebagamon.
Since 1929, it has been the values and goals of Camp Nebagamon that have stayed consistent, the thread that connects the past to today - to create a refuge from the real world, giving children the space they need to discover themselves, to nurture a diverse and caring community, to challenge boys in ways that help them discover how capable they are, and to engender a love of the outdoors in our campers.

Services
Time and time again, we are told by campers, staff and alumni alike that Camp Nebagamon is where they became their "best self." While there is nothing as important to a child's growth as their parents, it is also invaluable to give children the opportunity to have an experience away from their parents.
Candy LineEach camper receives a candy bar twice a week upon completion of his letter home. Horse 'N' GoggleA random method for determining anything, from who wins an extra dessert to who does an extra job. Anyone will be glad to show you. M.O.C.A.Masters of the Culinary Arts. Our most popular project, the cooking project, most likely because of the eating after the cooking!.
Whether you're entirely new to our camp or a former camper who has an interest in returning to CN in a new capacity, we're glad you've decided to consider joining our team. There can be little doubt that a summer camp counseling job is not for everyone. It's hard work. With that said, being a camp counselor is perhaps the most fun and rewarding job you will ever have.
We are quite dependent on the goodwill of our former and current camp families to spread the word about Camp Nebagamon. That's you! Please take a moment and think about any friends or family that might be interested in camp for their son and share their contact information. A fun-filled week for everyone (even girls!) to discover the adventure, traditions, and spirit of Camp Nebagamon.
Our backpacking trips take us to the Porcupine Mountains of Michigan, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, the famous Lake Superior Hiking Trail, Sleeping Giant Provincial Park in Canada, and Isle Royale National Park. Canoe trips allow us to access the incomparable Boundary Waters Canoe Area which consists of over a million acres of pristine wilderness.

I've worked at Camp Nebagamon in various roles over the last ten years (counselor, trip staff, village director), and it's become a second home to me. All of the people—the staff, the directors, the campers, the campers' families—are thoughtful, fun, and full of love. You'll meet people at Camp Nebagamon who will be your friends, mentors, and family for the rest of your life.

Adventure, confidence, leadership, friendship and memories that will last a lifetime best describe the gift that is Camp Nebagamon. Our two boys couldn't be more different - one quiet, nature-loving, serious - the other outgoing, active, competitive - but they both love Camp Nebagamon. The staff supports them as they take risks, build skills and have fun.
