The care was not worth the anxiety that I received from this place. Most of my visits went smoothly until I came in for my 2 week postpartum check up. I am a self pay patient. For the 2 week postpartum check up I walked in, had my blood pressure checked, weight checked, and temperature taking and was led to a room where the assistant asked some follow-up questions regarding birthing and labor. Next the Dr. came in and asked more questions like if I experienced postpartum depression, and if I had any concerns to which my answers were “no everything is totally normal”. My doctor and her staff were excellent. She left Generations for another practice. Four months after my appointment Generations went back and "re-billed" me for additional money claiming I didn't pay enough when I was there. I was a cash pay patient and the amount I paid was consistent with previous visits. Because I was a cash payment patient my doctor did the bare minimum to keep my costs down. I disputed the amount both over the phone and in writing. Now almost a year later they refer the amount to collections. I know for a fact someone other than my doctor or her staff went back after she left

I had a great experience with Dr Peggy Downing. She is amazing and practical. I've been trying to get pregnant for a few years, thanks to her experience I got pregnant fast. If you have issues with infertility definantly see her. She answered all of my questions and gave good recommendations. Her medial assistant Ashley was great also, patient and easy to communicate with. After having a terrible experience with women's care of Alaska, dr Downing gave me hope. Thanks to her I have a handsome baby boy now.

My baby was in breech or sideway position the latter part of the third trimester. I asked the doctors Faucett and Downey to turn the baby. This clinic kept telling me don’t worry about it, the baby will turn and get into position for labor and delivery. Baby did not turn and remained in breech position. Checked into matsu hospital after my water broke. 10 hours of contractions and the nurses finally checked me to find that the baby was breech. Doctor Downey finally shows up 12 hours into it, does a quick exam and says the baby is breech, his heart rate is dropping and we have to do an emergency

Recommended to me by the ER, however, was the WORST experience in my life. These people- from the receptionist, the lab tech, straight up to their manager- do not care about their clients (or potential clients) whatsoever. I got a call a few days ago from one of the gals and talked to her about my experiences. She said she would call back with the manager, but she never did. So, today, I called in to talk to the manager about my frustrations and she would not listen. She instantly began interrupting me before I could even explain what happened. Tammy was quite rude and began yelling on the phone

They are slow to respond to questions and calls back. 5+ times they said they would call back with answers or appointment times and did not. It took several return phone calls days, even once weeks, later to their office to get them to do what they said they were going to do promptly regardless to the timeline of certain things. It’s like the help, is going to get paid regardless if they meet their required duties in a timely manner or not.

Would never suggest this place to others looking for respectable quality care for themselves as well as their children. The first provider was awful, so I switched to someone who was awesome (awesome midwife: Ellen Argo). However, after everything has passed with this miscarriage, I will be switching providers for testing and such. Again, no respect for the mother. Kind of counterproductive, really.
