Services
Our campground features asphalt roads and crushed-limestone camp sites, as well as full RV hookups at each site. We also have pull-thru, double, and triple camp sites to accommodate RVs of all sizes and let you camp together in groups with your friends. One of the most requested campground features we've seen over the years has been cabins available for rent.
We have 1 handicap-accessible cabin, with the same amenities as the regular cabins except it contains a larger bathroom and no bunk beds. Cabin rates are $150 per night during summer season (April - October), and $120 per night during winter season (November - March). Additional $10 per night on special holidays.
After the success of Reunion Lake, Fireside owner Scott Sandage is once again evolving the world of RV camping. Over the years we've paid close attention to the feedback from both local campers and interstate travelers alike. We asked ourselves one question: how can we build a resort that gives campers the experience they've been asking for, but haven't been able to find anywhere else?
Monthly stays are for standard RV camp sites only. Fireside is located in the heart of south Louisiana, within driving distance of New Orleans and located right off I-12 and I-55. Spend your winter fishing beside the lake, sitting by the fire, and enjoying our snowbird-season amenities while you escape the cold & snow.

They were damaged by a hurricane Ida and did not had things like the dog park rebuilt. Also the site and what comes up gave no indication of damages. Still claimed amenities not there, and prices way over the property value. Wifi not working and no cable so a 30 dollar value but charged 70. No refunds if not happy.

Very expensive for not much. All amenities were closed. Dog park was destroyed/ non- existant. Started cutting trees down at 9 in the morning. The campsites were clean. The staff was friendly, but we arrived a half hour before closing, so no staff during the night. Cost almost twice what we usually spend.

Best campground we have been to and we’ve been camping for years. The lazy river was warm enough even in the cool weather (not sure if it’s heated)the kayaks and paddle boat were amazing the playground is nice and the walking trail is just long enough. 3 of the umbrellas fell into the water from the strong winds and I got into the water to help get them out and the staff was appreciative and friendly. The trees is what tops it off. Halloween activities were fun for the kids. We will be back 100 times. Thank you fireside for the great weekend!

My husband and I were here the weekend of August 13,14. It was very crowded, some campers seemed to close to each other. The lazy River was extremely overcrowded due to the time of year. It would be to fire side's advantage and to please your customers to have another pool. Also, there was no one checking people coming the pool area. I had a scary experience while using the shower house one night. After taking my shower, I was drying off and the lights went out; they never came back on. I had to feel my way around in the pitch dark. I opened the door to the shower to hopefully get a little light

Great campground, love the shade and the quietness. The sites are moderately sized, I'd check the site before booking. Some accommodate larger rv's better than others. The owner is constantly working to improve the place, and I know with time it will only get better. We will continue to book this place with our camping friends.

This was our first visit to Fireside. We had a great time but lots of room for improvement. Do not compare it to Reunion Lake. It is still new and I’m sure more to come but give it a chance on it’s own. I personally would not consider the park a “resort” and slightly overpriced for what you currently get. I will say to pick your spot wisely, some of the spots are so close together it’s uncomfortable. Also, beware during rain the ground got extremely swampy. The map on the website is outdated or not recently updated and doesn’t properly depict the distance between sites, the one you

We have been here twice. I love how clean it is and the lazy river is amazing. My issue is about not enforcing their own rules. 3 things: keep kids out of adult pool, keep dogs tethered, and don’t allow unlicensed drivers to operate golf carts. All 3 of these rules are YOURS. Take the signs down if you aren’t going to follow your own rules. I observed the staff clearly ignore the people breaking the rules. So I say again, don’t make rules you don’t intend to follow.

We stayed here from a Monday through Thursday, so I can’t comment on what it’s like for a weekend when they are busy. Most of the spots were empty for our stay. But we had a very nice time here. The kids and us adults loved the lazy river and pool, and we felt very relaxed the whole time. The grounds are very nice and peaceful. My only complaint is the gravel spots are little narrow/uneven.

Place has potential and if they put some effort into minor improvements it could easily be a 5 start location. Pool/lazy river area is very small and overcrowded. Adult pool area has kids in it which defeats the purpose of an adult only area. No adults were seen in attendance all weekend to monitor the pool areas and make sure all rules are being followed. The front office is disorganized and doesn't seem to know how to check in campers nor what to hand out to them or give directions to their site. The roads are backwards for some camp sites meaning you have to go in the wrong direction to get
