Alex Bike Shop was established in Alexandria, Minnesota to fill a void: to bring a real high quality Bike Shop to the Alexandria area. Our passion for excellence is what drove us from the beginning and it still drives us now. Many times, it's the most ordinary products that make the biggest impact on our daily lives.
Comfort bike are by far our most popular bike style. These bikes are built mainly for leisurely, recreational riding and short distance jaunts on bike paths or paved roads. These bikes will have a very comfortable, upright riding position, and a large, comfortable seat. Mountain bikes are bikes designed for off-road cycling.
Since 1974, we've had one goal: Innovate and inspire to improve riders' lives. So, when we developed our first electric bike in 2009, we knew it had to ride and feel like a great bike first-something we'd really love to ride ourselves. We wanted you to feel like you were on a "regular" bike, but that somehow, you'd grown superhero legs.
