Metalcraft, Inc. was established in 1986 by Richard G. Cortez, after a rewarding career with Hewlett Packard, where Rich managed the Idaho fabrication facility until his retirement in 1985. In 1992 Richard asked his son Ken to join the family business. Ken worked alongside his father for the next 9 years and became a partner.
