Point Breeze Motel & Kitchenette Apartments

While Point Breeze may be older it does offer many conveniences like it's own docks, boat launch, and a very picturesque deck sits above it all to enjoy the views. It's staff is also very helpful with the local area needs you may have and keep the place clean.

If you are looking for luxury, drive on past and find a B&B. But if you are in need of a clean, welcoming place to stay, this is it. It isn't fancy by any means, but the rooms are on the water. ON THE WATER. As in fish from your bed on the water. I am a collector of vintage/retro roadside hotel stays, and this one is at the top of my list in New Roads. You can lie on the bed and watch the sun rise and set through your big lake-facing window. I visited several weeks ago on my spring break and am headed back this weekend with some friends in tow. I loved it that much.

A wonderful place to visit, very clean and rustic!! The management helped in any way they could! We stayed there while working on storm damage from Hurricane Laura they could have raised their prices and didn't definitely worth the money we spent!

Clean, calm, quiet. Great fishing right from the balcony of our room. Overall wonderful customer service with a very reasonable rate. I highly recommend this motel if you're in the area.

Stayed here for a couple nights in November 2014. The owner/operator James was very pleasant and accommodating. The rooms were older but clean. If you're expecting the ritz, you'll be disappointed. But if you're expecting a nice little place to lay your head at a fair price with good service, then you'll find it here.
