AV Taekwondo Is the premier taekwondo school in the Antelope Valley, Serving the community for almost 10 years. We have experience teaching both children and adults, along with special needs children, working with disabilities such as ADD, ADHD, and working with kids on various parts of the autism spectrum.
Our goal is to teach the Korean martial art, Taekwondo, while also teaching life skills to help guide people to success in any aspect of their lives. While self-defense techniques are often the first thought in choosing Taekwondo as a martial art, most students quickly discover the healthy fitness, positive attitudes and mental sharpness that come from physical training.

Services
Our children's program is for ages 4 and up. Younger children develop athleticism, balance, and better coordination. Our goal is to not only teach self defense, but also teach vital Life skills such as Leadership, Respect, Perseverance, Focus, Patience, Self Control, and Goal Setting.
These are not only important principles of Taekwondo, but standards everyone must meet in life and we take pride in instilling these qualities early on in their lives.Our program is also very effective with children who have ADD, and ADHD, because self-control and concentration are exactly the skills underdeveloped.

Today's world is getting tough for kids and teens. Our goal is to create a safe place to learn self-defense, discipline, and confidence without being ridiculed for their mistakes. This sense of identity will boost their confidence and help increase their assertiveness when dealing with the high-pressure situations they're faced with on a daily basis.
Whether you are interested in physical fitness, self-defense or even just an athletic social outlet, for a growing number of people, Taekwondo provides the answer. Our school provides a safe and positive environment, providing a fun activity driven atmosphere where those with a common interest can join together in physically rewarding and mentally challenging activities.

Av taekwondo is AWESOME. Master Brian. Master. Eddie. Master Devin are really great instructors and take the time to teach students the moves also are very kind. It's great they help kids with disabilities like ADHD and autism spectrum. That's why I chose them. I highly recommend av taekwondo for anybody wanting to learn

Master Brain is the BEST instructor in the AV hands down. I myself have experience in Tae Kwon Do, Muy Thai and Karate. And Master Brian is by far the Best instructor the AV has to offer. He works with all ages extremely well and treats everyone with respect, regardless of age or gender. I drive 30 min twice a week to bring my daughter to AV Tae Kwon Do.
They also have events with the students outside of class, a day at the beach at the park movie night etc.
If you’re looking for a great instructor there is none better.

This place is absolutely amazing!!! Each instructor takes the time to help everyone with more then just improving their form but improving their character (such as their manners and making the right choices). I'm so glad I brought my daughter here! I highly recommend all parents who have a child that is interested in taekwondo make this your first choice to bring them!!

I have my 3 kids enrolled at AV Taekwondo and I'm very please with what they've learned thus far. The instructors are amazing and know how to bring the best out of each student, not to mention the fact that they make it fun at every class level. I look forward to all my kid's accomplishments with the Master's help!

My son has Been coming here for 4 years (he just got his black belt this year, YAY!) the dedication and discipline that he has learned at AV TKD has helped him so much. He is a more confident and out going person. Master Brian, Master Eddy & Master Devon really motivate the kids to do better each day. This program is wonderful it teaches displace, perseverance, respect and most important kindness.

AMAZING!!! I highly recommend Av Taekwondo my kids have been coming here for years and they truly enjoy it Master Brian and the instructors Mr.Eddie and Mr.Devin are awesome They really make the class fun for the kids, and the atmosphere going in you just know they think of you as family, they go out of their way to have activities with the kids outside of the studio, you won't be sorry joining our Taekwondo family

My son started training here at the WEST studio about a year ago and it's been an incredibly positive addition to his life. We love the instructors at this studio, but moved to their EAST studio since it's closer to home. I've even started training with him and we really enjoy that time together. Both studios offer skilled instructors and rigorous training - both mentally and physically. As a parent, I appreciate the discipline and responsibility they impart on the kids! The expense is hard sometimes, but when you look at all the benefits, it's clearly a must for our family
