This institution is guilty of throwing large number of patients under the bus from one of their clinics. As a cancer patient w MM and neurological deterioration, was told by administrators to find another place to get treatment. Not a doctor in the community or with specialized help but to go hours away and wait to get new appts months away.
She said that there lawyers are prepared, without mentioning medical negligence malpractice. I feel for the many others who struggle with disease who feel abandoned.

I’m angry I chose claxton Hepburn Urology department.
Appointment on Tuesday. Won’t have important medicine until at least next Monday thanks to people not completing tasks and not entering information accurately. I tried to get help for 4 hours today and I now have to wait the weekend.
I even called the urologist and complaint department before close on Friday. They set their voicemail early and left, leaving me to suffer a weekend (and longer) without my medicine!!!

The staff in the ER are very slow. In the hour I was there I still have not seen adr. I went at 5 am and nobody was around except one guy who was cleaning the beds.
They either need a staff to work or get another one

I was very impressed by their customer service. When I have had appointments for COVID tests and I arrived early, they would see me as soon as I arrived. This helped me not have to wait too long for the results and go into Canada. Their turnaround time for the PCRs are within 20 minutes. What a time saver and helpful because other establishments wait more than 24 hours.

Claxton Hepburn Medical Center is a wonderful regional health care center that offers many services seldom seen at similar sized hospitals. The Richard Winter Cancer Treatment Center provides cutting edge technologies ,and treatments. The Ravinder Agarwal Renal Center and Thomas Patterson Wound Healing Centers are just a couple other examples of outstanding programs not found at most small rural hospitals.

Third or fourth time either receiving or accompanying my husband here for endoscopy/colonoscopy services. NEVER are on time, while the nursing staff are personable , pleasant and professional as are the doctors. Its BEYOND unprofessional to have people appear for appointments the. Leave them waiting 3-4 hours, especially when they haven't eaten in 12+ hours. I can tell you having received regular services at Albany Gastroenterology this is NOT HOW SERVICES ARE DELIVERED ELSEWHERE

To the ER; 1 hr in & out. Everyone was respectful, courteous & efficient. Even gave me the phone extension for self pay/no insurance without making me feel apologetic for my circumstances. No red tape or hoops to jump through to receive care. This is how healthcare should be.
