At Cole Family Law we have a comprehensive understanding of child custody laws. We know that it can be an uphill battle to see your child, especially without an attorney to guide you. We can assist you with family law mediation and litigation for both new and existing child custody orders. You should not allow your emotions to cloud your judgment, but this can be easier said than done.
When you think about a divorce lawyer, you may think about contentious arguments in court that end really well for one party and really poorly for the other. But this just isn't the case anymore. Cole Family Law prioritizes mediation and other alternatives to litigation, so we can reach a more amicable and effective divorce agreement.
In cases where there are no minor children, the statutory waiting period is 60 days from the date the Complaint is filed. But remember that is the minimum amount of time it will take. Rarely are cases resolved in 60 days due to the court's schedule or factors in the case. In cases involving children, the statutory waiting period is 60 days from the date the Complaint is filed.

You admitted on the record that you were not appointed anything other than GAL. Still, on the record you admitted to having "appointed yourself parenting time coordinator and medical mediator". You billed for this. You know this is wrong and I am reporting you to the AGC. Read the law. Follow it. If anyone is interested I have loads of recordings of Ms. Cole where she is a bully and obviously unable to understand a basic court order. You were irate that I would not, and still won't, follow your "orders". This is my significantly toned down review of Ms. Cole as an attorney.

First of all, I love how Kathleen has responded to the negative reviews! I think it's so rude to leave a nasty review for any company that you haven't dealt with personally.
You try dealing with people that are angry or unreasonable on a daily basis. I'm certain it's not pleasant.

Kathleen seemed like a good lawyer during our consultation but turned out to be a complete disappointment. She didn’t show up to the mediators appointment as the other lawyer did which costed us our case. $2000 down the tube and now have to hire a new lawyer because she dropped the ball and the issue is unresolved but, she can charge $ 400 to read an email and do Nothing. She did not adequately represent her client and would not recommend her to anyone.

Never felt in better hands than I did with Kathleen as my attorney. Kathleen is wonderful. She is a sound voice during the hardest times. She will go to bat for you and your children. I have used her with my divorce and child custody issues. She is great at communicating with the other side, the court and most of all you. She tells you realistically what the outcomes can be. I would suggest Kathleen to anyone.

Kathleen with her green dyed hair and her outrageous court outfits is not a honest lawyer. She will present an awful outrageous lie followed up with "I think" to make the other party look bad even though it is not even true. I believe in justice and obviously Kathleen does not. She makes lawyer look bad and gives them the bad names they get. I have 0 respect for Kathleen as a lawyer.
