Services
In 1903 Mother Mary Bernard Sheridan, a Sister of Saint Joseph, brought healthcare to the poorest in our region, building a hospital on donated land and providing care for all. At the Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas (CHC/SEK), we live by this mission every day. It's at the heart of all we do.
We provide a wide range of medical services at the Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas (CHC/SEK), from pediatrics to family practice and OBGYN to laboratory services and imaging. We never refuse care due to an inability to pay. If you don't see the service you need, call us at (620) 231-9873.
Comprehensive obstetric care including prenatal (before birth), intrapartum (during birth) and postpartum (post birth) care. Find your nearest clinic for Women's healthcare services. We also provide delivery services at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg. From our clinic at Pittsburg we offer a Centering Pregnancy Program which supports moms-to-be through group classes and support services.
Eye care is an important part of being healthy. About 80% of what we perceive comes through our sense of sight. By taking care of your eyes, you can reduce the chance of vision loss and blindness and help prevent eye disease. At Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas (CHC/SEK) we provide affordable eye care for the whole family from select clinics, and we can refer you to other vision specialists in the communities we serve.
There are times when you or someone in your family may need more specialized care. We have a wide range of specialized medical professionals who can provide the care you need either in person or via telehealth. We consistently expand the number and type of specialists with whom we work, to provide the care you need.
