Last Monday night my son Charles Abbott went to the ER. He had been sick for about 5 weeks. He was getting weaker by the day. He was having shortness of breath when he barely walked across the floor. And his heart was pounding in his head, causing him to black out. By the time he got to the ER and Dr. Aina saw him, checked his blood he said he felt fine just very weak.

This place never listens to me when I need them to if it wasn't my closest hospital I'd never go here. I literally have a machine to help breathe and it suffocated me to wear it and they won't even order the change for it til a week from now apparently. Not to mention when I have testing done here ordered by my dr they always forget to send results its usually several months of constantly calling and asking for it to be sent over before it actually gets done. If you're able to go elsewhere for medical help please do so this place is an absolute joke. I also had a hospital visit due to an adverse

I was referred to Adams County Regional Medical Center by Dr. Bernheisel at ACRMC Family Medicine in West Union after experiencing some knee pain. Dr. Renshaw, the orthopedic doctor recommended I get x-rays and see a physical therapist. I completed both. The imaging department got me in and the process was super easy and the staff were very pleasant. I completed physical therapy and my knee feels great.

Very quick to misdiagnose based on two symptoms that overlap multiple medical issues rather than tests, and gave me prescription immunosuppressants in which 8 days after starting, I ended up getting VERY sick which eventually developed into severe pneumonia.
They also gave me an IV medication that I ended up being allergic to and I was told it would be on my listed allergies, however, it was not on the listed allergies on my discharge papers NOR was it on the list of medications received while in the ER. I was told what it was by the nurse, but I had forgotten it due to how much was happening

I have had labs done, an ECHO of my heart, a brain CATA scan, a 3D mammogram, and more. I have found the staff to be amazingly friendly and kind. I have no complaints. I love this hospital, and I'm so happy it's close to where I live. They also provide cost-free care for people under the federal poverty guidelines. It's clean, and they are fast and friendly.

A literal joke for a hospital. Took my son in there he is 18 months old he fell from his swing and hit our porch. As a parent I was concerned about his head he had knots and bruises so I took him here to get checked out doctor walked in rubbed his head told me to keep him close to me tonight if anything happened take him to children’s wrote me a prescription for ibuprofen and we walked out, We were in there maybe two minutes they literally had to register me at the window when I left. Whether he turns out to be fine they still could’ve done a better job and shown better care. I get why people

Had to take a family member to medical center on 5/31/2021 due to concerns of a possible broken toe. The MD Richard Durbin was extremely rude and demeaning to us. I would not recommend this facility. Better to drive on down the road to a better facility.
This is the second time I have been to this facility with a family member. The first visit years ago was just as bad but for different reasons.

Last week I was at Adams County Regional Medical Center with multifocal pneumonia and congestive heart failure. I choose to be sent there from Mercy Mount Orab ER because of the wonderful care and staff. The third floor nurses took excellent care of me and saw to all of my medical, emotional and physical needs. Dr. Karashi was very thorough and gave me excellent care as well. Respiratory therapy was on the ball and made sure I had breathing treatments as ordered and as needed. I am very grateful to have such a wonderful hospital in my area staffed by such compassionate and caring professionals

My Mother was placed on the Hospice care floor. The rooms are very nice and clean. But my Mom was in a non-responsive state and I was talking to her. A Nurse or aide, whatever she was, came in and told me NOT to talk to her because she gets agitated when people talk to her and she just got her calmed down. Are you fricking kidding me !!!! I was so stunned I just looked at her and she finally left. That nurse doesn't realize how lucky she was that she got to WALK out out of the room. My Mom passed the next morning.
