Dr. Alex Van Wyk is a Des Moines Chiropractor and Diplomate in Acupuncture with more than 30 years experience in alternative health care. He is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and has completed extensive postgraduate training in acupuncture and nutrition. Dr. Van Wyk has been serving the Des Moines area for over 25 years.

I suffered from a bicycle crash with a slight concussion and major sore neck which put me off my training schedule for RAGBRAI. After 3 sessions of acupuncture, my neck was like brand new! I've had a small catch in my neck that hurts to turn sideways while driving for at least 15 years or longer and that too is gone!

Businesses like this one are why I prefer to support local ones. It's not owned by a corporation, it is run by people who, yes, are just doing their jobs, but they are bound by their work and doing a little bit of good, not the need to make rent. As a patient, you are treated for your specific problem, not given a cure-all that doesn't actually address the problem. It's worth taking the time to get your X-rays taken so that they can give you proper treatment. Do whatever you can to keep up with the exercises they recommend and you will feel -so- much better.

I have been a patient of Dr. Alex and the girls at Alliance Chiropractic Center for a little over a month now, as I came to Alliance Chiropractic for neck, back, and leg pain, which I have had the leg pains for several years and haven’t had anyone able to give me the help and relief I needed up till now.
Just in the short time I have been coming to Dr. Alex he has taken away almost all of my leg pain already and now working on my neck and back.
I recommend Alliance Chiropractic and Dr. Alex to anyone and everyone that is having any problems with their neck, back, legs, arms, or any other type

I've had terrible pain for years and recently had an increase in pain. I Googled chiropractors in the area and alliance had really good reviews so I decided to check them out and I'm glad I did. My first visit I was sent for xray to come up with a course of treatment. I've been getting weekly adjustments and my back is doing so much better I'm so thankful I found this office it's given me much more quality of life.

I have been to a plethora of chiropractors, and this is the best one I have ever been to. I highly doubt you will be disappointed in the care here. Especially the customer service. I drive an hour to get to it, because I believe it is the best around. The flexibility, atmosphere, and overall attentiveness to you is exactly what you want in fixing the major or minor issues you may have. I don’t know anyone there personally, but felt welcomed like a friend instantly.
