In 1967, Gilscot Forwarding Company was established by Helen Guillot-Scott in New Orleans, Louisiana. After years of building the company's success, Helen passed the business on to her nephew, Keith Guidroz, Sr. In 1995, the company was renamed to Gilscot-Guidroz International Company, Inc.
